What a great cause to be a part of. We all know that Kristen Stewart doesn’t feel exactly comfortable giving any sort of speech on stage — awards shows have proven this — so the fact that she did this, and did well, deserves applause. The actress participated in “12-12-12″, a concert benefiting The Robin Hood Relief Fund to help the victims of Hurricane Sandy, which was held at Madison Square Garden in New York City yesterday. “I’m here to talk to you about New Jersey tonight …” she said on stage, as she took over from Billy Crystal launching into an articulate, sincere speech about the statistics of the damage done in the area, before handing over to Jon Bon Jovi. Awesome job, KStew! We just can’t understand why she wore a neon jogging shorts-suit while saying it? With a collared shirt? Watch the video of speech right below.
