All sorts of interesting (read: juicy) details about Lady Gaga’s private life have been coming out in the past few days, and we lawsuits to thank for it. Last week we discovered that Mother Monster requires a mannequin with “puffy pink pubic hair” in her dressing room in order to feel truly at home, and now a court document reveals yet another quirk: She would have sex with her boyfriend on the recording studio floor.
Wow, that sure is surprising! OK, actually maybe it’s not that surprising at all. In fact, it seems exactly like the kind of glam rock ‘n’ roll shenanigans Gags would get up to. But it definitely makes us rethink the meaning of “Heavy Metal Lover”!
The allegations come from from the recently filed October 2011 deposition of the awesomely named Wendy Starland, who’s in the midst of a lawsuit against Gaga’s former boyfriend/producer Rob Fusari for a bunch of reasons that we don’t really care about. The important part is that Wendy claims that the singer used to get it on in the recording studio with Fusari!
“Stefani just said, you know, we’re having sex at the studio so I don’t know if you want to be there for that,” she says in the deposition, referring to Gaga’s real name, Stefani Germanotta. “She never told me not to come. She just told me what was happening, and I came to my own conclusions that I would prefer not to watch.”
The suit was filed because Starland essentially is claiming that she’s the one who discovered Lady Gaga, and not producer Fusari. Wendy was promised a deal where she and Fusari “would work together to develop the singer and share equally in any revenues earned as a result,” but apparently that didn’t take place. Fusari was also sued by former GF Gaga herself back in 2010 for $30 million, but they settled out of court. At least they have their memories…
