- During an appearance on The Dan Patrick Show, Charles Barkley commended basketball player Jason Collins for revealing his homosexuality. However, Sir Charles pointed out that Collins clearly isn’t alone in his preference. Barkley stated he definitely played with closeted gay teammates during his NBA run, but declined to name names. - Deadspin, Gawker Media’s sports site, is the target of a lawsuit by producers of Dr. Phil’s syndicated show. Allegations stem from the Manti Te’o fake girlfriend ruse, when catfish mastermind Ronaiah Tuiasosopo appeared on Dr. Phil. Deadspin apparently posted exclusive clips ahead of the episode’s airing.
