5 Celebrity Foodies We’d Love To Invite To Thanksgiving Dinner

Thanksgiving is just one day away, which means there are only a few hours left to plan the perfect holiday dinner. You could spend that time scouring recipes and hitting the grocery store, or you could imagine yourself being surrounded by your favorite celebrities who also happen to know a think or two about basting a bird.

In addition to being beautiful, wealthy and well-connected, these stars have a knack for slow-cooking and can snag a table at the most exclusive restaurants. In short, if you were able to pick your own celebrity BFF, these are the five you’d choose from.┬áDon’t be jealous of their great fortune, just simply wish you’ll be able to eat in their kitchen one day.

Known to cook in Louboutins in or “really cute aprons,” Lively is that rare Hollywood type that actually gets use out of her oven. (And unlike Carrie Bradshaw, it’s not for storage.) These days, the Gossip Girl star is spending less time on screen and more time in the kitchen. Her 2012 wedding to Ryan Reynolds was profiled by Martha Stewart Weddings–yet another successful venture from the lifestyle icon Lively is now fortunate enough to call her neighbor. In addition to sharing her favorite recipe for sausage and brie puff pastry with Vogue, Elle Decor chronicled Lively’s quest to create the perfect kitchen in her Bedford, New York home. She doesn’t use recipes (just like she’s known for not having a stylist) and she was lucky enough to make butterscotch at New York’s legendary Per Se. Did we mention she’s married to Ryan Reynolds?!

Check out the video above to see how convincingly Lively can pronounce “confit” and “compote.” We know she’s an actress, but…wow.
