You might not feel like breaking out the bikini quite yet, but Sports Illustrated is hoping to change that. Jimmy Kimmel unveiled the magazine’s 2014 Swimsuit Issue live on his show Thursday night, featuring Nina Agdal, Lily Aldridge and Chrissy Teigen on the cover So how does one feel when she makes it on the 50th anniversary cover of a major publication millions around the world will see? If you’re Chrissy, you drop to the floor in disbelief.
“I started crying. It was a weird shaking [and] trembling, because I didn’t believe it,” she told PEOPLE. Chrissy is a friend of the family here at VH1, hosting Model Employee and braving the crowds in the name of selfies at last year’s Hangout Fest. Plus, she’s married to John Legend, who’s documented their love in the cutest way possible. Lily Aldridge is married to Caleb Followill of Kings of Leon, making her VH1 family-by-association and Nina Agdal has been linked to the likes of Adam Levine and The Wanted’s Max George. While Chrissy and Nina have been featured in SI‘s annual feature before, Lily is making her swimsuit issue debut this year. “I feel so lucky. It’s the perfect introduction,” she said. “It’s just such a dream come true, and to just be a part of the 50th anniversary cover is just insane. I think I was in total shock when I found out!” In case you’re already falling short of your New Year’s resolution to hit the gym, these three are doing a great job reminding us of why we should get back on the workout wagon.
