After a week of speculation that Naya Rivera had been dropped by both her Glee family and her record label, the actress sought refuge poolside. It’s like that old saying goes: When life hands you lemons, throw on a tiny bikini and post butt selfies to Instagram.

In addition to celebrities making time for some R&R, the first weekend in May proved to be a busy one on the social calender. The White House Correspondents’ Dinner welcomed stars of stage and screen to Washington, D.C. to mingle with politicos and catch a glimpse of Barry O. Mindy Kaling and Zooey Deschanel were quick to add princess Lupita Nyong’o to their clique during the annual fete, making the rest of us feel horrible about our inability to rock a bold lip. Meanwhile, Julia Louis-Dreyfus and her Veep counterpart, Joe Biden, strolled the halls of 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue like the badasses they truly are.

Jay Z and Beyoncé supported the Brooklyn Nets during Game 6 of their series against the Toronto Raptors (while Drake rooted for the opposing team nearby) and James Franco welcomed Seth Rogen, Zac Efron and the cast of Neighbors backstage during Of Mice and Men. And together, the group gave Ellen DeGeneres and her Oscar crew a run for their money. Best selfie ever? Maybe!
