BWE Writers Room: Five Year Old Chef Burns Matt Lauer In The Kitchen

Matt Lauer has had a lot of newsworthy interviews recently, from Elizabeth Edwards to Carrie Prejean to Bristol and Todd Palin. But none of those subjects managed to wrest control of their interview and show that nosy Matt Lauer who’s boss quite like Julian Kreusser, the 5-year old chef.

Visit msnbc.com for Breaking News, World News, and News about the Economy

Julian is clearly the only real professional here. He has his own show, unlike Matt, who has to share The Today Show with a bunch of grown ups who probably shouldn’t be trusted with open flames.

For more tasty clips, check out Best Week Ever with Paul F. Tompkins tomorrow night at 11pm on VH1.

BWE Writers Room: You May Have Performed At A Soap Opera Prom, Pussycat Dolls…

The prom is one of those great American traditions people remember forever, and One Life to Live really captured the essence. The anxiety over finding a date. The excitement over getting the right dress or tux. The surprise guest performance by The Pussycat Dolls. The jarringly thin hipbones of the lead singer of The Pussycat Dolls. The realization that the Pussycat Dolls have run out of places to perform their J.J. Abrams-style reboot of “Jai Ho.” As you’ll see, it’s just like your prom.

Make a date with Best Week Ever with Paul F. Tompkins this Friday at 11pm.

BWE Writers Room: Deadliest Catchphrase

Being a captain on Deadliest Catch is stressful! When you’re out battling the ravaging and unpredictable sea for months at a time in your rickety boat things can get a little salty. Worse than shark bite or a little rain over the Flemish Cap, there’s the danger that…you might miss seeing the walrus herd! And if you miss the walrus herd, you can’t be held responsible for what you’ll say to your brother…

Don’t miss these mammals and don’t miss an all new Best Week Ever with Paul F. Tompkins Friday 11pm.

Bill Hader Is Taking Over Your Television

Bill Hader is all over TV and movies these days. As we mentioned, he will be on a little show we like to call Best Week Ever with Paul F. Tompkins this Friday at 11pm. Yes, Bill has hit the big time. Also, besides Saturday Night Live, he is starring in Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian, opening next Friday. We’ve even heard rumors he may taking over The News Hour on PBS, but that could be wrong. Check out this promo for Friday’s show:

BWE Writer’s Room: Lil Kim’s Assets Will Blow You Away

The world’s energy crisis is no joke, people– we need renewable resources and we need them now! Could the answer to our energy shortage lay within one of our country’s greatest treasures… no, not Yellowstone… we’re talking about Lil Kim. Dancing with the Stars showed us that Kim’s bootie isn’t just hot, it’s apparently thermonuclear.

For theories on how we can harness this untapped resource, tune into Best Week Ever with Paul F. Tompkins Friday at 11pm.

BWE Writers Room: ‘It’ From I Love Money Also Loves Solving World Peace

The Pope may be in the Middle East this week to promote peace in the region, but His Holiness has nothing on It from the I Love Money 2 Reunion! Not only has It already solved the whole peace in the middle east thing but we hear he’s already scheduled to appear on next fall’s VH1/C-SPAN crossover I Love UN Middle East Envoy.
