Oprah Winfrey was in awe last night while watching Democratic presidential nominee Barack Obama‘s inspirational speech in Denver. “Just seeing [Barack] on stage, I cried my eyelashes off,” she tells Entertainment Tonight. “I’ve never experienced anything like this. I think that what he had to offer the country tonight will make us all better.” The daytime TV giant was very emotional as she added: “It changed my life. I feel like I’m going to do better and work harder.” Oprah has been singing Obama’s praises since before he decided to run for the nomination. You know you’re touching the nation’s hearts and minds when you get Oprah to do self-described “ugly cry” in public. [Photo: AFP]

Jennifer Aniston is trying to get back to her TV roots. It’s been more than four years since Aniston and the cast of Friends took their final bow on NBC, but OK! Magazine has learned that the actress is in talks with the network about making a brief return. “She’s in talks to have a guest spot on one of their high-profile shows,” says the insider. “The top choice is 30 Rock, but if that doesn’t work out, they’ll try to find another show for her to make an appearance on.”
She might want make funny on the small screen again, but she isn’t ready to give up on her film career. There is no rest for the weary. Aniston not only just met with Woody Allen to discuss an upcoming project, but she has several new movies coming up including Marley & Me with Owen Wilson and the star-packed film version of the best seller He’s Just Not That Into You. We hope her hectic schedule will keep her mind off all the media frenzy around her break up with attention seeker John Mayer. [Photo: WireImage]
Madonna‘s bro Christopher Ciccone is trying to make a buck off his sister and her famous friends with his tell-all book. In an interview with Out magazine, Ciccone talks about his estranged relationship with Madge and all the juicy details that didn’t make the cut. He wanted to add a disgusting story about Demi Moore (pictured above in Striptease) squirting her breast milk, but his lawyers panicked. This didn’t stop him from spilling it to the mag:
“Yeah — and she’s [Demi] dancing up on me and humping me from behind. The one part that’s not in the book is that she was lactating at the time and she was squirting breast milk at my lesbian friends. My friend Michelle called me the next morning and asked me, how do I get breast milk out of my black dress and I said How the f*ck would I know Call Demi. It was hysterical. There are no pictures of it but it actually happened. The lawyers didn’t think it was wise for me to print that — so there’s your juicy tidbit.”
We’re sure Demi’s daughters would rather go deaf than hear that story, but the book will be a best seller with tasty (sorry) gossip like this. [Photo: Getty Images]
Axl Rose has the hots for Ozzy‘s baby girl, Kelly Osbourne. The sleazy legend might be twice her age, but he tried some of his best moves on the 24-year-old rock spawn. Kelly’s pal Richie Rich, trendy Heatherette designer, told OK! Magazine, that the two bumped into the Guns N’ Roses singer at the launch party for the new Tide and Downy Total Care washing liquid. (Sexy!) “He was really weird with her,” said the fashionista. “He kept leering at her and saying, “I want to f*** you!” Not exactly the most romantic way to sweep a girl off her feet.
Perhaps, the lothario was too busy celebrating to practice his pickup lines because the man accused of leaking nine songs from the Guns ‘n’ Roses‘ 14-years-in-the making Chinese Democracy album was arrested on Wednesday in Culver City, CA. The accused man, Kevin Cogill, admitted to posting the songs when he was questioned by an FBI agent, according to an affidavit. A federal attorney said he’s expected to appear in U.S. District Court in Los Angeles later today.
Hilary Duff‘s dad was ordered to spend ten days in the slammer by a Texas judge for contempt of court yesterday in Houston. This is the latest chapter in the bitter divorce between Hilary’s parents, Bob and Susan Duff. The Judge determined he violated an injunction against selling assets without court approval. It was reported on Houston Chronicle that Bob Duff must pay $367,537 into a court repository, a sum he earned from selling stocks last month. The judge is also making Bob pay Susan $12,500 for Hilary’s birthday party, which was the subject of the hearing. Susan wanted $25,000 to pay for a present and party. Guess there’s always time to party — even in the midst of family turmoil.
Susan explained by saying her daughter “is emotionally upset by the abandonment of her father” and deserves “to have some kind of recognition for a young life well-lived.” The actress and singer will be 21 years old on September 28, and is rumored to be engaged to hockey player Mike Comrie (pictured above). Neither Hillary nor her sister Haylie were present in court. Bob Duff’s attorney Robert Piro said his client would post bond and file an appeal. We just hope he has enough left over to pay the DJ and buy some party favors. [Photo: FilmMagic]
The twice married Hugh Hefner might be walking down the bunny covered isle again. According to Hef’s second girlfriend Bridget Marquart, the next season of The Girls Next Door will feature a “huge wedding.” The third time could be a charm for the 82 year old and his #1 lady Holly Madison. Bridget was reportedly overheard spilling secrets by saying that fellow girlfriend Kendra Wilkinson will be moving out of the Playboy Mansion once season five wraps. “She said they will be moving on since Holly is Hef’s main girlfriend,” a source tells OK!. Reportedly, Holly is also getting more involved with the magazine. Don’t worry about Bridget and Kendra’s welfare, because there won’t be any homeless bunnies on the street. As Scandalist.com previously reported, Bridget and Kendra have plans of their own. [Photo: WireImage]
Rihanna and Chris Brown might just be ready to shack up together. These two have been playing coy about their romantic relationship, but do you play tonsil hocking with your “good friend” in public? According to an insider for Star magazine, Rihanna has been searching for a condo in Los Angeles since early July to share with her undercover lover.
The “Don’t Stop the Music” singer is rumored to be on a mission and has been receiving new home listings via email even when she’s out of town. “She and Chris want to live together,” the insider added. “They play their music loud though, so they want a condo that’s soundproof.”
If true, this would be a big move for the 20-year-old pop singer, but when you’re in love anything seems possible. Hopefully, they’ll confirm their coupledum after they share the same address. [Photo: Splash News Online]
A lawsuit is the latest setback for Tom Cruise‘s Nazi-era flick Valkyrie, which has been plagued with problems from the start. The film’s title is named after the codename for a plot to assassinate Adolf Hitler and Cruise stars as Claus von Stauffenberg, the ringleader of the group that concocted the plan during World War II. The German government initially banned the production from shooting on location in Berlin where the scheme was hatched due to the actor’s religious beliefs. Germany does not recognize Scientology as a religion and views it as cult, but after months of national debate they granted the production permission. Things seemed to be back on track when movie extras were injured after the side panel of a period German army truck burst open.
It looks like the saga continues because twelve of those extras are seeking $11 million in damages from Tom Cruise and his production company, United Artists, after suffering broken bones, cuts and bruises. Is seeing Tom with a funny haircut and eye patch really worth all this drama? We’ll have to wait a little longer than anticipated to find out because the release date has been postponed to December 26. [Photo: AFP/Getty Images]

Kate Hudson can’t wash this bad news out of her hair. The Los Angeles-based 220 Laboratories is suing the actress and hairstylist David Babaii for fraud, misappropriation of trade secrets, breach of contract, among a slew of other complaints (see full list after the jump). The company claims she and Babaii stole a top-secret recipe to create their own hair care line. 220 Laboratories says it was the only supplier of volcanic ash in the United States and that it entered an “oral contract” with Hudson and Babaii in 2006 to develop and manufacture hair products.
They say after revealing the “confidential” ingredients in November, the golden-haired beauty took the ash samples and shopped around looking for more bang for her buck. There are also claims that they went as far as using promo footage of the 220 team collecting ash with their new manufacturer, Universal. The 29-year-old actress might just lose that famous smile because 220 Laboratories is seeking an unspecified amount in damages and attorneys’ fees, as well as an injunction against competitors’ use of their products.
Hudson has not yet been served and only just found out about the complaints. Her reps say, “Kate does not know the plaintiffs and has never met with them or spoken with them.”
Paula Abdul is not exactly pleased about Grammy-nominated songwriter Kara DioGuardi being added as a fourth judge on Fox’s American Idol. This morning, on Phoenix’s Johnjay & Rich radio show, she said, “I am concerned about the audience and acceptance. Time will tell. We’ll see.” But Idol producer Cecile Frot-Coutaz has a different take: “We’ve seen from our international series that having a fourth judge creates a dynamic that benefits both the contestants and the viewers.” Nothing like a cat fight to keep ‘em watching!
Abdul claims she’s not jealous, just concerned for the kid. “That’s gonna be weird if it’s a split decision,” she explained. “It takes the fun out of all the hard work I do to push those kids through.” Apparently, it’s really “hard work” to stay awake and mutter incomprehensible soliloquies. DioGuardi’s songs have appeared on more than 100 million records by the likes of Christina Aguilera, Gwen Stefani, Britney Spears, Miley Cyrus and the Jonas Brothers. Her songs have also been used by past Idol contestants including Katharine McPhee, Kelly Clarkson, Carrie Underwood, Taylor Hicks, Bo Bice, and Clay Aiken.
