Allow us to first clarify that we’ve heard nothing about a Fargo sequel, nor do we think one should happen, nor is it possible unless Peter Stormare‘s character makes an unlikely escape from prison. However, Ryan Gosling‘s recent bleach job bares an uncanny resemblance to one of the Coen Brothers‘ most legendary, woodchipper-lovin’ mad men.
In some weird way, it’s almost a relief that we’re seeing Gosling looking less than perfect on the set of The Place Beyond The Pines. After his recent streak of heart-throbbing appearances while promoting Crazy, Stupid, Love, we were starting to think he was perhaps a sexy cyborg planted on Earth to distract us from Robert Pattinson.
It’s been over two months since we swooned over Entertainment Weekly‘s big reveal of Jennifer Lawrence as Katniss, and now they’ve whipped out the big guns (literally) and given us a sneak peek of Liam Hemsworth as Gale and Josh Hutcherson as Peeta. EW sat down with The Hunger Games‘ handsome duo and got the deets on the first six weeks of filming. Most interestingly, the two actors whose characters battle for the heart of Katniss have become fast friends in real life – so fast that Hutcherson has already brought Hemsworth home to Kentucky to meet the fam! Precious!
What do you think, Hunger Games devotees?
Ryan Gosling‘s been everywhere lately, and we ain’t complainin’. The Gos is all kinds of hot whether he’s appearing on Late Night With Jimmy Fallon with his famous scruffy pup George, donning a checkered suit on the red carpet or making funny faces at the paps while dining al fresco in NYC. Crazy, Stupid, Love hits theaters this Friday, and in it he plays a Rico-Sauve-With-Expertly-Tailored-Suits kind of guy (hardly the stretch, we know) but given the last role we saw him in was the epically-depressing Blue Valentine, his versatility is as impressive as his biceps.
Between his good looks, his ever-present and ever-adorable dog George, and hello, THE NOTEBOOK, Ryan Gosling will forever hold a place in our hearts. Here are the top 20 looks that nearly caused cardiac arrest.
The music community lost a great talent today. Grammy-winning singer Amy Winehouse was found dead in her London apartment. While the cause of death has yet to be confirmed, Winehouse famously battled drugs and alcohol the last few years of her life. She recently cancelled her European tour after being booed off stage in Serbia and admitting “she cannot perform to the best of her ability.” She was only 27.
Let’s all admit why we really tuned into live coverage of the Breaking Dawn panel at Comic-Con yesterday: to obsess over Robsten‘s every move, duh! We’ve gathered ten of the most awww-inducing, positively darling instants in the utopia known as the “Robsten Bubble.” GIFs and photos of the moments ahead. Read more…
Cutie patooties Emma Stone and Ryan Gosling hit Rockefeller Plaza this morning to promote their promising rom-com Crazy, Stupid, Love. and nobody could have predicted what ensued. As the Today Show quartet chatted up the good-looking duo, it was suggested that Gosling reenact his Dirty Dancing-style lift he does in the film with Ann Curry. While she bashfully (and insanely!!!!) denied the opportunity for Gos to grab her waist, Al Roker gleefully stepped up to the plate. Buff Gosling didn’t turn down the challenge, and though it took three attempts, he finally got Roker airborn.

14 kids can’t tie Nadya Suleman down! Just a week after her chaotic Today Show appearance (you know, where her kids took over Studio 1A, ran around crashing into things, and Lester Holt and Natalie Morales became babysitters/wranglers?), Octomom rang in her 36th with new party pal and Rock of Love alum Angelique “Frenchy” Morgan. The attention-loving duo danced, partied with two other girlfriends and very sloppily devoured cupcakes.
Let’s hope her many, many children never figure out the Internet.
