There’s no doubt Big Morning Buzz Live host Nick Lachey will put his bevy of talents on display come Monday morning. But there’s one thing about him in particular that we can’t stop thinking about: those arms. Yes, the 98 Degrees member and newest addition to the VH1 family has some serious guns, and we NEED to tickets to the show. Like, right now.

Seth Rogen went to Washington. D.C. on Wednesday, to speak before the Senate Appropriation Subcommittee on Labor, Health and Human Services about Alzheimer’s research. Like many members of Hollywood before him, Rogen is using his notoriety for good, and has a close connection to the disease that affects over five million people in the United States alone.
Nick Lachey kicks off a new season of our very own morning show, Big Morning Buzz Live, in just four days. New to the Big Apple, the talented performer is making the media rounds this week, in order to get to know his new neighbors and find out any necessary secrets to waking up before dawn. Thursday morning was time for Today, where Nick made hosts Natalie Morales, Tamron Hall and Willie Geist smile with his soothing and sweet lullabies.
After the coldest winter, Scandal returns tonight–hopefully with much more of Scott Foley in a towel. With a new season of House of Cards now available on Netflix and Homeland and Veep continually in the TV conversation, D.C.-centric shows are taking over our DVR. And we’re not exactly mad about that.
In Hollywood, there’s a contingent of talented actors for whom awards and endless praise from the film community are expected. Meryl Streep competes for her fourth Academy Award on Sunday night, and it’s been scientifically proven that she gets thanked more than God at these things. Each year some permutation of the same crew is expected to receive nominations and each year we rack our brains trying to figure out which one is more deserving of the coveted golden statue. Except when there are wildcards.
Since filing for divorce from Lamar Odom, Khloe Kardashian hasn’t shied away from the spotlight. She’s been cheering sister Kendall Jenner on at New York Fashion Week, promoting a new season of Keeping Up with the Kardashians and recently, she was spotted dancing all up on Game. Has she already moved on?
By this time next week Matthew McConaughey might have an Oscar. That’ll likely sound strange if you still think of him as David Wooderson, the ambiguously aged keg party enthusiast from Dazed and Confused, or as a naked conga drummer. (Let the record state that MM still plays, he’s just more careful about closing his windows these days.) Over the last 18 months, McConaughey has delivered the best work of his career, earning a Golden Globe and Screen Actors Guild Award and proving that it’s never too late to expect the unexpected–even from a guy whose personal mantra is just to keep on livin’.
The Coen brothers’ Inside Llewyn Davis and Tom Hanks were two of the most glaring omissions from this year’s list of Academy Award nominees. It was shocking not to hear Inside among the list of Best Picture nominees considering the plethora of praise it’s received, and disappointing to see Hanks boxed out after he delivered not one but two strong performances (in Captain Phillips and Saving Mr. Banks, respectively). Then again, there are plenty of Hollywood legends who don’t have a tiny gold man engraved with their name despite owning box office records or topping critics’ lists. When it comes to doling out the coveted Oscar, the Academy doesn’t always go with the popular opinion.
There’s a reason why Scandal‘s Harrison Wright (Columbus Short) stays so calm during a crisis: suspenders. The paid problem-solver has many positive traits–that smile, those lips, those arms, we could go on–and his impeccable wardrobe helps him look cool during any sticky situation Olivia Pope and Associates take on. Despite a collection of well-tailored suits, it’s difficult not to notice the historic accessory he’s been bringing back in a big way. And he’s not the only one!
The 2014 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue cover models were unveiled last week, and today is the day you can get your hands on a copy all your own. Lily Aldridge is celebrating gracing her first SI cover by sharing shots of her experience on Instagram, while Ireland Baldwin is making a case for why she should be included in 2015′s racy roundup.
