Not So Slippery Nipples: The 20 Raciest Celebrity Pasties

View Photo Gallery

If a breast is exposed, but the nipple is covered, was the boob ever naked in the first place? Let’s ponder this and many other questions as we journey through this gallery of the raciest celebrity pasties. Despite the existentialist quandary presented by the pasty, what I want to know most is: Does it hurt? It seems as though sticking something to your nipple would hurt. View Photo Gallery

Move Over, Katniss: 10 Sexy Movie Archers We Loved Before The Hunger Games

View Photo Gallery

It’s Hunger Games season! And with posters of Jennifer Lawrence, game-face on, staring you down, pointing her bow and arrow at you in a flourish of flames everywhere you turn, it’s hard not to succumb to the delicate mix of sexiness and feminist bravado the image evokes. It’s true that J-Law looks good doing just about anything — I challenge you to put her in a burlap sack and have her recite the dictionary and it NOT be completely endearing and compelling — but as Katniss Everdeen there’s a real magic in her archery.

Etta James Dead At 73

Sad news to pass along. After a long battle with leukemia, it has been announced that legendary Etta James has died at the age of 73. The legendary American blues, soul, rhythm and blues, rock and roll, gospel, and jazz singer’s terminal illness was originally diagnosed with leukemia back in 2010, and finally succumbed to the illness with her husband, Artis Mills, and her sons by her side.

Born and raised in Los Angeles, James began formal vocal training at age five, participating in her local Baptist Church’s choir, and by age 14 she had a number one hit in 1955 with her doo-wop band, Peaches, entitled “The Wallflower (Dance With Me, Henry).” James signed to Argo Records in 1960 under which she released her two most lauded albums, At Last! and The Second Time Around. Her two most highly-regarded songs are “At Last,” released in 1961, and “I’d Rather Go Blind,” released in 1968.

Gothic Romance Sweeps The Critics’ Choice Red Carpet

While there were splashes of color on the red carpet at the Critics’ Choice Movie Awards, there was also the predicable black-on-black-on-black ensembles. But the mood was anything but sombre, as those sporting black gowns added an edge to their style with a gothic twist that played off the vampiric undertones of 2011′s trends. Charlize Theron was statuesque in a gown that cascaded in tiers to her feet, with a sleek braid and minimal accessories giving the dark look a modern, fresh feel. Evan Rachel Wood also opted for a floor length gown, and her lacy number, porcelain skin and twisted up-do lent the the look a stoic, old-world air. Judy Greer also went for gothic femininity, in a body-hugging dress overlaid with intricate black lace. Kirsten Dunst wore a beautiful Dior LBD, and embellished with ribbon and tulle, Kirsten bought her signature quirky, fashion forward style to the runway. Also rocking a shorter dress was Chloe Moretz, who went all out on the goth trend in Chanel, wearing shearling sleeves on a baby doll dress with raw seams and ancient looking brooch adorning the collar.

Little Sisters Elizabeth Olsen, Elle Fanning Shine In Gowns Fresh Off The Runway

Their talent has already been proven with their critically acclaimed silver screen performances, but at the Critics’ Choice Movie Awards little sisters are doing it for themselves in the fashion stakes too. Wearing gowns fresh off the Spring/Summer 2012 runways, both Elle Fanning and Elizabeth Olsen showed their big sisters that they too have one foot in the closet. Both girls celebrated youth and color, in summery shades of lime and lemon, and both bought life to their runway dresses, their smiles adding joy and life to the couture styles.

Elle Fanning, star of Super 8 and little sister to style maven Dakota, wore a Rodarte floor length gown and radiated with fresh make up and a splash of yellow eye shadow. Far from overwhelming her with it’s length and volume, the dress merely accentuated the teen starlet’s ebullience as she walked down the red carpet. Elizabeth Olsen, star of Martha Marcy May Marlene, sister of style icons Mary-Kate and Ashley opted for a canary yellow beaded mini dress from Pucci’s SS12 collection, and like Fanning, bloomed like a flower as she strolled down the red carpet.
