Kirsten Dunst, who was once America’s favorite pre-teen vampire, turns 30 today. As we prepare watch Kristen Stewart and Mackenzie Foy eclipse her breakthrough bloodsucking performance in 1994′s Interview With a Vampire, and Emma Stone takes over the role of Spider-Man’s main squeeze, Dunst has moved on to more grown-up roles. She wowed critics with her performance in Lars Von Trier’s Melancholia last year. This year, we’ll see her as a reluctant bridesmaid in the indie comedy Bachelorette and mix it up with the Beat poets as Camille in On the Road (opposite Stewart and Garrett Hedlund). And now she’s re-teamed with her Virgin Suicides and Marie Antoinette director Sofia Coppola for The Bling Ring (currently known as “that movie in which Emma Watson has a tramp stamp“).
With her adorable dimples, Kirsten probably could have picked a career as a rom-com staple — but she’s always balanced her cuteness with a bit of a dark edge, and a number of smoldering looks. That’s why we’re taking this moment to wish her a happy birthday with a collection of her 30 hottest looks.
Carmen Electra’s killer charm and electrifying body has made her a staple in the entertainment world for close to twenty years. The blue-eyed beauty got her start by appearing in minor roles and print ads back in the mid 90s, but it was her role in the television classic Baywatch that launched her into the stratosphere. From there she earned parts on the big screen in movies like American Vampire, Scary Movie, and Starsky & Hutch, and landed on the cover of Playboy an astonishing five times!
But life hasn’t been a total beach for Carmen. Who could forget her tabloid train-wreck of a marriage to Dennis Rodman one drunken weekend in Vegas? And her reality wedding to Jane’s Addiction front-man Dave Navarro didn’t fare much better. Though her love life may have been questionable sometimes, we love her anyway. So to celebrate her 40th (!?) birthday, check out the ageless beauty’s 30 most electrifying looks in the gallery below. Enjoy!
The Material Girl, the Queen of Pop, Madge, Hydrangea Hater, up-and-coming director, Evita — Madonna has been many things to many people. She’s had hits and a few misses, but she always manages to titillate the masses with her upbeat pop songs, controversial videos and well-calculated publicity stunts. As we celebrate the release of her 12th studio album, MDNA — a collection of juicy pop tunes, invigorating dance beats and introspective lyrics — we’re marveling at the fact that she still knows how to grab and keep our attention.
Of course, she’s done her share of acting and made a case for herself as a director, with W.E. We’ve seen her pour herself into humanitarian efforts, fashion and writing (for mature adults AND children). But amazingly, we’ve realized that there are a few careers Madonna has yet to try. And that made us wonder — what if this music thing hadn’t turned out? We think she would have had a few other options…
Voluptuous vixen Coco turns 33 today, and you know she has a lot to celebrate. Thanks to her — assets, she’s made quite the name for herself. The buxom blonde started as a model in her teen years. At age 18, she went on to compete in fitness competitions, even winning the Mexican title, Miss Ujena Fitness. Then she branched out into acting and made her way into some low-budget films. It was on set where she met her current husband of 10 years, Ice-T.
Given the short life of most celebrity couples their decade together is remarkable. Their secret? Taken straight from her Twitter, here’s some relationship advice in under 140 characters: “Don’t touch a black man’s Kool aide, there may be some consequences.” We’re watching E!’s Ice Loves Coco to figure out what the heck that means.
Coco loves her curvacious body, and she knows we do too! Never one to be shy in front of the camera, the starlet posed for Playboy in 2008. Using her, um, “talents,” she managed to market herself as a web-personality and has her own fashion line.
We here at theFablife hate to follow the pack, so rather than celebrating Coco’s 33 years with pics of her more obvious assets, we thought we’d take a minute to point out all the other beautiful things that we, and Ice-T, love about her.
Jennifer Lawrence is on a roll this week. She’s donned two gorgeous gold gowns at the Los Angeles and London premieres of The Hunger Games (Prabal Gurung and Ralph Lauren, respectively) and she’s built up a reputation as one of the red carpet’s brightest fashion stars in just a few short years. From last year’s Baywatch babe Oscar gown to her hot pink Oscar de le Renta win at the 2011 SAG Awards, Jen has proven she can hang out on the A List with ease. But that doesn’t mean there haven’t been missteps along the way!
We’ve pulled 35 of Jen’s most recent red carpet looks and rated them in three categories: The Good, The Bad and The Meh. Check ‘em out in our gallery below and weigh in on what you like – and dislike – to see the starlet in. And here’s hoping we get a third gold dress this week!
Nothing says rock-n-roll like entering your sixth decade, right? Or something like that. Anyway, today is rock legend Jon Bon Jovi’s 50th! Since 1983, Bon Jovi has toured with and without his eponymous band for almost three decades, sold over 130 million albums worldwide, and spawned some of the greatest rock anthems ever, and somehow doesn’t show the wear and tear of life on the road. While singing of those striving youths of New Jersey, Jon’s also cashed in on his other skills, showing off his lusciously feathered locks and hard-rock abs as a model and actor. In 1996, Gianni Versace personally selected him as the face of Versace’s spring ad campaign. And we have a soft spot for his 1999 guest stint in an episode of Sex and the City, where he played Seth, a guy who frustratingly became disinterested with Carrie after sleeping with her. (The opposite is hardly true — we’ll never be disinterested with him!) Showing his softer side, singer has donated to charitable causes and raised money for the Special Olympics and Red Cross. Jon’s still giving love a good name: He and wife Dorothea Hurley currently raise their family in Jersey. Wish JBJ a happy birthday as you check out how he’s aged (barely) through the years:

“She’s so gorgeous!” “She’s too thin!” “I love her hair! “Is she pregnant?” “What was her stylist thinking?” Yes, most of our commentary about Oscar fashion revolves around the women in attendance. The lovely ladies of Hollywood always steal the show on the red carpet, but we want to give the men a chance to shine. While some guys just slap on a penguin suit and call it a day, a few put a little extra thought into their attire, and for that, we applaud them.
Keeping the swag level high, P.Diddy told us he went for a custom-made suit from London. Interior designer/talk-show host Nate Berkus has impeccable taste that clearly translates to his sense of fashion. And Nate was kind enough to let us in on the reasoning behind his fashion splurge: “When you’re 5-8″, you don’t go for a tuxedo from a store ’cause then you look 5’8″ … Don’t I look 5’9″?” Pharrell Williams served as the night’s musical director, so he knew his sartorial choice would be on the screen a whole lot. He was looking fresh to death in a Lanvin tuxedo, complete with waistcoat. “I’m clean baby! This what it’s all about right here!”
From the Oscar veterans like the velvet-loving Christopher Plummer to the newcomers like Jonah Hill, there were plenty of other men rocking a suit like a GQ photo shoot. Check out our gallery below and tell us who your faves were.

Deciding who should be crowned the Greatest Woman in Pop is probably harder than learning the choreography to “I’m a Slave 4 U.” Britney Spears and Lady Gaga are not only pop superstars but also fashion icons. These talented women have taken cues from living legend, Madonna. It’s only fitting these two express themselves with the rest of the world by setting the trends, taking risks, and looking good while doing it. But the question is, who does it better? To help decide who should win, check out our gallery in this style showdown! And then cast your vote in our poll before 11 AM tomorrow to see who goes on to the edge of glory in round three!
