Lindsay Lohan’s Hairvolution: 50 Shades Of LiLo On Her 26th Birthday

Our girl Lindsay Lohan has definitely gotten into her fair share of trouble, even when she’s supposed to be on the road to rehabbing her reputation. From car accidents and indecent exposure to being too diva-licious and some sad Terry Richardson photos, she’s given us plenty of reasons to be worried for her. But then we close our eyes, take a deep breath, and go to our happy place: The Parent Trap! (Cue butler/Lohan secret handshake.)

So, for our lovely LiLo’s 26th birthday, all things bad are forgotten. We decided instead to celebrate one trait that Lindsay hasn’t yet managed to sabotage beyond repair: her hair. Here we take you for a tour through the shades: from brilliant red to platinum blond to jet black and back, Lindsay is always keeping it fresh on and off set. So turn up “Here Comes the Sun,” kick back, and enjoy our LiLo montage!

Ann Curry’s Today Replacement Is Savannah Guthrie: Report

Ann Curry’s out and Savannah Guthrie is in on the Today show — well, as soon as NBC’s lawyers can get Curry’s contract figured out, according to TMZ and several other sources.

Ann is only in her first year of a three-year contract as co-host, under which she’s supposed to make $10 million a year. She reportedly wants the remaining $20 million, but NBC wants to give her a foreign correspondent position instead. The other option is that NBC would give Curry the money, but under the condition that she doesn’t take a new job for the next two years.

But onto what’s more important, getting to know Savannah Guthrie! The beautiful, 40-year-old former lawyer graduated Magna Cum Laude from Georgetown Law Center, and she’s a member of the bar in Washington and Arizona. She got her TV start as a legal analyst in Arizona, Missouri and Washington before graduating to Court TV and then, in 2007, to NBC, where she’s currently co-hosting the third hour of the show. Decent resume, right?

Ryan Lochte, Here Are 20 Reasons We’d Like To Go For A Swim With You

We’re getting really excited for the summer Olympics around here, guys. And today’s number one reason? Ryan Lochte. Today, Lochte qualified fastest in the 200-meter freestyle prelims at 1:48:14. He’s the world champion in the event, FYI, after beating Michael Phelps for the title last year in Shanghai. Lochte also beat Phelps in their first final at the Olympic trials on Monday when he won the 400 individual medley on Monday. You know how else the gold-medalist is beating Phelps? In the eye candy department.

Lochte, 27, is from Daytona Beach, Florida and majored in sculpting his abs and perfecting his tan — er, we mean sports management, at the University of Florida. He came home from Beijing in 2008 with three gold medals, two silver and one bronze. And in 2009, he managed to become the first swimmer to set a world record since the ban on performance enhancing suits. So he’s got more than just fantastic bone structure and a perfectly chiseled torso.

Since the championships, he’s been training for the Olympics with Coach DeLancey who praised Lochte in Men’s Health in its July/August issue: ”I’ve worked with some tough athletes. There’s none tougher than Ryan. He’s not afraid to throw up.” Ew. But we totally admire his need to achieve!

“Pain, tolerance, endurance — when it comes down to that point, there’s always something left,” Lochte says. “You just have to find it.”

Katy Perry Sheds Tears Over Russell Brand In Part Of Me

Katy Perry did promise us that her 3-D concert doc, Part of Me, would show everything she was going through while on tour, including her rocky relationship with soon-to-be-ex-husband Russell Brand. Now we’re getting a better idea of just how much she’s showing in the flick, which hits theaters on July 5.

In an interview with MTV News, Perry explained that though it is hard to deal with her split publicly, she wanted to show her fans even the ugly side to her story. “The truth will always prevail,” Perry said. “If you were to have seen that movie and walked out and [my breakup] wasn’t at all mentioned, like it never happened, you’d be like, ‘Eh, this is weird. What is she trying to hide?’ I don’t like to hide.”

Beverly Hills, 90210 Nostalgia Check-In: How Are Jennie Garth, Shannen Doherty And Co. Doing?

We saw a few photos of Jennie Garth this week looking really good for someone who’s currently going through a divorce — maybe a little too good around the eyes, if you know what we mean. Of course, that made us wonder how the rest of the original flavor Beverly Hills, 90210 gang is doing these days. They’ve certainly gone through a lot of changes since the first episode of aired in October 1990. Some, like Garth and Shannen Doherty, went on to have other successful series on TV (What I Like About You and Charmed, respectively). Others, like Luke Perry and Jason Priestley, didn’t exactly see their careers take off like we expected. Gabrielle Carteris and Tori Spelling have had a good run as moms, both on and off the air. And we’re still waiting to see when Brian Austin Green and wife Megan Fox will announce her bun in the oven. Regardless of where their careers are these days (where is it, Ian Ziering?), we are pleased to report that most of the former residents of that famed zip code are still looking their sunny, attractive selves. And since we began writing this post, that guitar riff has not left our heads, so we’ll always have that. Anyway, check out this gallery of the kids from Beverly Hills High School both back in the day and now.

Robert Pattinson Gets The Woody Allen Seal Of Approval

Looks like we’re not the only ones with Pattinson fever (yes, we’re convinced it’s a real thing)! Cosmopolis director David Cronenberg has a tight loving grip on Robert Pattinson and now Woody Allen is gushing about how he would love to work with the Twi-star! At the NYC premier of Woody’s new film To Rome With Love, he told HollywoodLife.com that he “wouldn’t hesitate” to work with R-Patz. He thinks that Pattinson is “a wonderful actor. I’ve seen him act and interviewed on television. I find him charming and amusing and if I ever had anything he was right for I wouldn’t hesitate for a second!”

What an amazing compliment from one of Hollywood’s biggest directors. As if we didn’t think Pattinson was going to make it, he’s got both Woody and Cronenberg hooked and wanting to bring him even higher than vampire fan worship. During a recent Q & A at a London Apple Store, Cronenberg said he chose Pattinson to be in Cosmopolis because he ” just thought it would be wonderful to hear this dialogue spoken by wonderful actors, and I stumbled accidentally across Rob.” And of course, he fell victim to the old Pattinson charm. “The charisma that he has is obvious and is necessary for this film as his character is in absolutely every scene,” Cronenberg continued. “You have to have someone who has the chops, and is interesting and charismatic.”

Wow, our Twilight boy has a bright future ahead of him and we seriously can’t wait to see what’s next!

Johnny Depp and Vanessa Paradis Officially Split After 14 Years

Johnny Depp and Vanessa Paradis split up after 14 years

We regret to inform you that Johnny Depp and Vanessa Paradis have officially split after 14 years of togetherness. Excuse us as we dry our tears off the keyboard. The celeb couple we thought would stand strong throughout the years has called it quits “amicably” according to Depp’s spokeswoman. The statement released to Entertainment Tonight also asks that everyone “respect their privacy and, more importantly, the privacy of their children.”

Both of them have said in the past that they do not need a piece of paper to prove their mutual respect and love for one another. Paradis once told Elle “I love the romance of ‘let’s get married,’ but then, when you have it so perfect … I mean, I’m more married than anybody can be – we have two kids. Maybe one day, but it’s something I can really do without.” But last few years have clearly been rocky for the couple, who have not graced any red carpet together in over a year. They reportedly even live in different homes on different continents, with Depp in Hollywood and Paradis in France.

The pair got together in June of 1998, when Depp saw Paradis sitting at a bar in the Costes Hotel in Paris. He was apparently so stunned by her beauty that he asked a friend to invite her to their table. In that first meeting they spoke for 2 hours. And before we knew it, 2 hours turned into 14 years! We can only hope for the best for them and their children, but would it be so bad for us to break out the ice cream and a rom-com so we could cry for a little?

Good Girl Gone Bad: Take A Tour Of Rihanna’s 17 Badass Tattoos

Rhianna is the badass princess of the pop world. She’s the good girl gone bad, hard and rated R! She’s the girl next door…if you live next door to the Hells Angels. And with a reputation like that, she’s gotta have some awesome ink to match, right? Last Saturday in the midst of the insane Chris Brown/Drake drama, Riri revealed her 17^th tattoo along with the post “Falcon: a light that shines in the darkness! Never close their eyes during sleep.”

But with this unveiling, we have realized that it’s hard to keep track of where she keeps the rest of her body art. Of course there’s her infamous typo tattoo, and most recently her knuckle duster tats. But what else? After going on quite the treasure hunt (and then throwing a little victory dance party for ourselves), we were able to track down each and every last one of her tattoos. Ryan Gosling Steals Hearts By Singing “When A Man Loves A Woman” At Age 10 (VIDEO)

Even before the Mickey Mouse Club got their hands on him, Ryan Gosling was busting out some sweet moves and a voice bigger than his body to match them. Here we have him at a Mormon talent show at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Cornwall, Ontario back in 1991. The 10-year-old Gosling starts off with a smooth rendition of the soul classic ”When a Man Loves a Woman” as he works the stage with insane levels of pre-pubescent swag. He is then joined onstage by his older sister, Mandi, to dance to C&C Music Factory’s “Everybody Dance Now.” And we can’t forget those awful matching outfits that the duo seem to make completely adorable!

In an interview with Interview magazine in 2010, Gosling spoke about performing as a child. He said that when he was 8 and his sister was 12, “We would sing “’When a Man Loves a Woman’ to the bride. We’d do it right before the garter ceremony. While the bride was sitting on the chair, I would get down on my knees and sing the song, and then my sister would sing another song, and then together we would sing ‘Old Time Rock & Roll.’ Then sometimes if we were really killing it, I’d sing ‘Runaround Sue.’” What we’d give to hear a little serenade from Gosling now! And maybe without his shirt on…

Today’s a big birthday for pop icon, Paula Abdul, as she turns the big 5-0! She’s showed the world all she’s got since the early 80s and we know she’s not slowing down any time soon! Pop isn’t all she’s got – Paula is known for her wacky and fabulous wardrobe. The colors, the designs, the sparkles – OH MY! Abdul ‘s unique threads are always show stoppers. Her originality radiates in every red carpet pose from the Kids’ Choice Awards to the Grammys. Abdul has come a long way since her days on her high school cheerleading team and has proved to be the powerful woman she set out to be.

This past January Abdul announced that she would not be returning to be a judge on the X-Factor. So what’s she up to now? Well a few days ago she was spotted at Citizens Bank Park during the Phillies/Dodgers game. She was there there supporting the Prostate Cancer Foundation and getting down with the Phillies mascot, Phillie Phanatic.
