Michael Lohan: Still (Allegedly) Terrible

Anyone who saw even a few moments of the fifth season of Celebrity Rehab knows that Michael Lohan and Kate Major have a relationship that’s best described as “combustible.” The on-again, off-again couple is apparently on-again and, as we’ve come to expect when these two get together, something apparently went majorly awry with them last night.

TMZ is reporting that Lindsay’s dad is currently “cooling his ass” in a Tampa area jail after being arrested on domestic violence charges last night. …

Charlie’s Angels Joins Fall TV’s Fallen

By Natalie Adeeyo
Today we learned that the latest incarnation of Charlie’s Angels received its walking papers after only four episodes. Was anyone surprised? Not really. Every season, the major networks throw so many new shows at the wall, and then step back to see which will stick. Some go on to make their networks proud, while the bad seeds get kicked out and disowned — especially if they’re slick and expensive to make. This fall season had its share of troublemakers, like the controversial Playboy Club, as well as plain, old underachievers, like the aforementioned Angels. So far, here’s a list of the dearly, and not so dearly, departed.

Lily Collins Keeps Swan Trend Alive In New Snow White Pics

By Sabrina Rojas Weiss
We got a quick glimpse of the wild costume-ball getup Lily Collins dons in her upcoming still-untitled Snow White movie last week. Now, the studio released a few more images from Tarsem Singh’s fantastical fairy-tale adaptation, and among them is a head shot (heads shot?) of Lily in the giant swan headdress. And it’s further proof of what fashion bloggers have been saying for some time now: swans are the new black.

Björk’s new album, Biophilia, drops tomorrow, and though she sold her infamous swan dress for charity years ago, we wish she would trot out the look once more on her publicity tour, just to say “Toldya so!” to the haters who mocked it back in 2001. And then Natalie Portman would bum-rush her interview and cut her. Sorry, don’t know how that story just spun out of control there. Anyway, vote for the best swan, and then peruse these gorgeous Snow White pics after the jump.

Michelle Williams, Marilyn Would Like You To Eats Some Carbs, Please

By Sabrina Rojas Weiss
Michelle Williams can basically do no wrong, in our eyes, so please consider this a message of loving concern, not of criticism. While the 31-year-old has always had a luminescent, head-turning beauty, she’s also won us over by appearing very real. That’s why pics of Michelle at the New York Film Festival premiere of “My Week With Marilyn” over the weekend have us worried.

We love the seafoam-green vintage Dior, and she’s rocking that super-cute pixie cut still. But her arms are alarmingly skinny, in that high-fashion manner that screams, “No one has let me near a piece of bread in six weeks!”

Now, we ask you, is this any way to promote a movie in which Michelle plays MARILYN FREAKING MONROE? No one’s going to argue that the late bombshell was the picture of mental health, but she was, and still is, the icon of curvy ladies everywhere. (The picture above is of MM in 1956, when “My Week” takes place.) And if she were alive today, we’re sure she’s tap Ms. Michelle on her currently bony (but still lovely!) shoulder and purr, “Honey, wouldn’t you just looove a bowl full of pasta right now?”

Great Moments In Penn Badgley’s Political Career

By Sabrina Rojas Weiss

Penn Badgley seemed kinda sheepish about being photographed at the Occupy Wall Street protest in Downtown Manhattan earlier this week.

“I mean, listen, it’s cheesy,” Badgley told CapitalNewYork.com. “But I want to do whatever I can. Let’s be honest: I’m on f*cking ‘Gossip Girl.’”

But maybe Penn’s selling himself short. Because when we look back at his past deeds, we can tell he’s got politics in his blood. Behold …

Stacy Keibler Might “Wear Out” George Clooney, Mark Cuban Says

By Sabrina Rojas Weiss

Though George Clooney claims to be “falling apart,” the rest of us know that he’s basically just getting hotter with every passing year. And that’s probably why he hasn’t remarried since his divorce from Talia Balsam in 1993. But Mark Cuban tells us that single streak is about to end, thanks to new girlfriend Stacy Keibler.

“The rest of us live vicariously through George; he does a good job,” the Dallas Mavericks owner told VH1 News at the NYC premiere of The Ides of March. “Now he’s dating Stacy, who I’ve known forever.”

The pro wrestler-turned-actress just might be the key to making Clooney settle down, one way or another.

“I think Stacy might wear out George,” Cuban said, laughing. “She might not be the one, even though she’s really, really cool, but she might be the one that wipes him out so he has no choice but to get married on the next one. She’s crazy, I love her.”

George Clooney Says Ryan Gosling Will “Grow Out Of” His Hotness

By Sabrina Rojas Weiss

You put two of the sexiest men alive in the same movie, and there’s bound to be just a little rivalry — if not on the set, definitely during the promo blitz. Earlier this week, George Clooney ribbed his Ides of March co-star Ryan Gosling on “Letterman,” calling him a “pretty boy” who “can’t get a job.” Those split-face posters certainly can’t be helping matters, either.

At the New York premiere of “Ides” on Wednesday night, VH1 News decided to push George a little further on the matter of casting such a hot, young thing as his co-star in the movie he also wrote and directed.

“He’s going to grow out of it, don’t worry,” Clooney said. “He’s going to get old and ugly and things are going to start falling off and it’ll be fine. I’ll feel much better.”

Oh, yeah. Because that’s definitely happened to George. “I’m falling apart,” he said to our disbelieving ears. “This is a fake leg I’m wearing right now.”

If that’s the case, enjoy them both trapped in time on Best Week Ever’s Ultimate Clooney-Gosling GIF Wall.

Beyonce’s “Countdown” Video: 5 Things We Covet

By Sabrina Rojas Weiss

Beyoncé premiered the video for her infectious single “Countdown” last night, and, to quote fellow TFL-er Jordan, “I sorta covet her entire life in this.” But since we can’t currently be pregnant with Jay-Z’s baby and running the world, we’ll dial down our wish list and instead covet a few of the things Bey wears in this colorful homage to Audrey Hepburn’s Funny Face with a little and Flashdance thrown in for good measure.

From the late-’50s-esque dance sequences to the “Sesame Street” split-screen illustrations of her “countdown,” this whole video is a peppy ad for her gorgeous, occasional-baby-bump-showing wardrobe. But we’ll focus on a few things actual real people like us could wear (sorry, spangly gown and striped shirt and suspenders!)
