Plenty of celebrities have had extremely different careers before “making it” in Hollywood, but did you know that comedians Drew Carey and Rob Riggle were Marines before their comedy careers took off? Showtime‘s mind-bending new drama The Affair follows both sides of a relationship that unfolds between writer Noah Solloway (Dominic West) and waitress Alison Lockhart (Ruth Wilson), both of whom are married. While the fate of Noah and Alison’s extramarital fling remains shrouded in mystery (and opposing points of view), they’re hardly the first adulterous TV couple to keep fans guessing and wanting more. 1) I’m not just writing that because VH1 is paying me the big bucks to do so. Although, later on, I am looking forward to balling out of control at Forever 21 even though I’m ghorghor years old. What? VH1 isn’t paying me that much in order for me to reveal my age. 2) Yes, some of you are watching — ABC did recently give ask for a full season order — but the show is now hovering around the 6.5 million range, which is pretty decent, but I’m waiting for this show to become the breakout hit of the season. Ever since I was a little bitty boy in grade school, it has always been one of my dreams to be apart of a really cool acapella group that takes over the world, one melodic vocal riff at a time! However, that dream never came true. BUT meeting Pentatonix, my favorite acapella group of all time, was close enough to my dream for me!
November 14 will mark 26 years since the CBS sitcom Murphy Brown hit the airwaves. Have you ever had your whole day made by a stranger, and for the rest of that day, you weren’t able to stop smiling??? Well OMG that just happened to me today when I stalked the incomparable Terry Crews into the elevator!!! First of all, the Brooklyn Nine-Nine star has been one of my favorite actors ever since his hilarious break out role in White Chicks, and I’ve loved just about everything else he’s done (including his Old Spice campaign!). With a build like that, I’m sure nothing scares him. But I must say, my fangirl shriek did startle him a bit! I’m just glad he didn’t use his football skills to tackle me to the ground.

Miles Teller is certainly on his way to becoming Hollywood’s next It Boy, so it’s a complete miracle that I ran into him today in the VH1 elevator! Since he was so mean and scary in Divergent, I must admit I was a little scared. But luckily he was so nice and chill in person, which totally relaxed me, too! (Well, as relaxed as I can be in the elevator.)
