View Photo Gallery

The SAG Awards may sometimes get lumped in with a bunch of other awards shows, but the event is in a class all its own when it comes to actors either making speeches about their craft or making fun of people who make speeches about their craft. Guess which people we like best? We gathered the funniest bits here, in case you decided to watch Flowers in the Attic — or you know, go see an actual movie — instead.

‘Friday Night Lights’ Movie? Zach Gilford Has One Morbid Idea To Make It Happen

After years of devoted Friday Night Lights fans hoping the departed show would continue on the big screen (back where it started), creator Peter Berg and star Taylor Kitsch put the kibosh on those hopes once and for all. Nya Lee’s Body Map To Bill Murray’s Madras: This Week’s Worst-Dressed

Thanks to awards season, Paris Fashion Week and, well, some sort of crazy vapors in the air (did that West Virginia water get farther than they said?) we had an overabundance of choices for this week’s worst-dressed list. In this supersize edition, we have a couple of Love & Hip Hop lovelies, Kanye West in a giant fur coat, and a nice selection of over-the-top red-carpet numbers.

Who Dares To Criticize Supernatural’s Jensen Ackles And Jared Padalecki?

Oh, how wrong you are, boys.

Meryl Streep’s Stockings, Adele Exarchopoulos’ Birds: Critics’ Choice Worst-Dressed

View Photo Gallery

If you managed to look away from the glowing aura around Best Supporting Actress winner Lupita Nyong’o or the towering grace of host Aisha Tyler at the Critics’ Choice Movie Awards tonight, you would mostly see some nicely dressed movie stars. It’s not traditionally a night of huge red carpet risk taking, or the hugely entertaining blunders that brings. Fortunately for us and our need for schadenfreude, there was just enough weirdness to keep us entertained.

Can you believe Sports Illustrated’s revered tradition of ignoring athletes for one issue a year and devoting an issue to lovely ladies rolling around in sand has been going on for half a century now? David O. Russell Isn’t The Only Celeb To Make A Terrible Slavery Analogy

View Photo Gallery

“I’m going to get in so much trouble for saying that.” Truer words were never spoken. That was David O. Russell after complaining to the a New York Daily News correspondent that Jennifer Lawrence’s time commitment to the Hunger Games franchise “talk about 12 years of slavery, that’s what the franchise is.” Since the quote circulated today, the American Hustle director has issued a statement of apology. But not before we decided to look back into recent history to see who else has been ill-advised in their references to our country’s worst sin.
