Happy 7th of July! While you were busy barbecuing and beaching this weekend, Miley Cyrus was getting inked.

It’s hard to comprehend that some of Hollywood’s most fabulous and fortunate once faced desperate times…which we all know, call for desperate measures. Their shelters during these tragic times were far from the penthouses and estates that they know today.
Game of Thrones has a new wine line, Zooey Deschanel is calling out other celebs and you’ll never believe the ridiculous reason Kim Kardashian left the Hamptons.
True Blood is back for its final season, and we are, yet again, hooked. It’s a gore fest we just can’t avert our eyes from — with all sorts of ghouls wreaking havoc and tearing humans to bloody shreds, True Blood definitely does not shy away from wanton violence. Vampires, werewolves, demigods and witches are all terrifying as can be in Bon Temps, Louisiana, so we’ve decided to find out what the scariest True Blood characters look like when they’re not being blood-suckingly villainous. You know, to help us (and you) sleep at night.
Seinfeld, the TV show as we know it, started out as a pilot on July 5, 1989 called The Seinfeld Chronicles. After a shaky first episode devoid of Elaine Benes and Kramer (Michael Richards played the part but he was named Kessler back then — it’s truly a bizarro-Jerry thing to watch), the show found its footing and became the pillar of nothingness that we all recognize.
When most TV shows end, they’re mourned and, if they’re lucky, they live on in syndication, but Seinfeld left such an impact on pop culture that there are references that still pop up in daily life that we’re guessing people (kids these days!) don’t even realize came from the show. From skinny mirrors to shrinkage to big salads, here are the things that are just as relevant twenty five years later. This is not comprehensive by any means, so if you think we missed any essential references, feel free to air your grievances in the comments. Read more…
Getting into the Independence Day spirit definitely involves donning a little bit of red, white, and blue. However, even when we do decide to wear the colors of our flag, we have to keep in mind that the patriotic palette probably wasn’t chosen for sartorial purposes. Apparently, some celebrities didn’t get the memo and have gone a little wild when using their outfits to show their love for the United States. So which famous folks have committed fashion treason?
Thanks to resident Instagram users (and abusers) like Nicki Minaj, James Franco and Kate Upton, we have been provided with some pretty fantastic nude and almost nude selfies over the past six months. Whether they are NSFW, borderline porn or barely there teases, these celebs a.) ditch their shirts, because let’s be honest, they’re overrated anyway and b.) never fail in getting our attention and keeping us entertained.
Katy Perry‘s #TBT will have you thinking about your awkward teenage years, Pretty Little Liars’ Ashley Benson lands a huge modeling gig and the cast of Full House reunites for Uncle Joey’s wedding.
On Thursday Glee‘s Chris Colfer announced his departure from the Fox series. “Due to personal issues, I have been let go from the cast of GLEE,” he Tweeted, before adding: “Explanations will come shortly…” Wait, what? Colfer has played fan favorite Kurt Hummel since season 1, and his character was and remains an integral part of the show’s shift to New York. He was never rumored to have drama behind the scenes — unlike costar Naya Rivera who was rumored to have conflict with Lea Michele, and whose future with the show has been called into question multiple times — so surely he’d be a central focus during the show’s sixth and final season.
