Kerry Washington hosted Saturday Night Live for the first time last night with musical guest Eminem. Washington’s hosting stint didn’t just come on the heels of Scandal‘s massive success and the announcement of the star’s pregnancy. Washington also had to take center stage at Studio 8H in the middle of a massive controversy about how the show doesn’t currently have a single black woman in its cast (even though there are tons of hilarious black ladies in comedy today). So how did the actress who plays Olivia Pope fix the controversy? By facing it dead on.
As young people spend less and less of their time hitting the multiplexes and more and more of their time BitTorrenting movies to their whoozamawhatchits, Hollywood has (wisely) decided to make more movies aimed at people who don’t know the difference between a Kindle Fire and the kindle you use to make a fire. This weekend’s Last Vegas is a prime example of that release strategy; by casting near-geriatric leads like Morgan Freeman, Robert De Niro, Michael Douglas and Kevin Kline, the studio is clearly targeting an audience that’s more familiar with Social Security than social media. This got us thinking: What films have the oldest median age of their primary castmembers?

Check out this exclusive clip from tonight’s show to find out if Freddie Prinze, Jr.‘s adult body, Justin Timberlake‘s recipe for romance or Warwick Rowing Club’s calendar all have what it takes to make Michelle’s panties come off. Warning: panties might not just come off; panties might be OBLITERATED!

Here at VH1, we watch movies almost exclusively for the eye candy. Sure, plot and character development and special effects are nice, but when we go to the movies, we go to stare at hot bods. The most iconic villains in horror films aren’t usually considered hotties, but we’re determined to find a few ladykillers amongst them. In honor of Halloween, we’re ranking the 15 hottest fictional serial killers (and ranking them in order of whom we’d most like to date).
The second season of Nikki & Sara Live draws to an end tonight with a spectacular Halloween themed season finale. In honor of the auspicious occasion, we chatted with the show’s stars, Nikki Glaser and Sara Schaefer, about season two’s craziest, silliest and funniest moments and, of course, about meeting Justin Timberlake. We’ll count down the moments here:

The first trailer for Captain America: The Winter Soldier hit the internet last week and we couldn’t be more excited about it. We get to see Chris Evans return as Captain America, Scarlett Johansson as the Black Widow, Anthony Mackie as the Falcon, and most importantly, Sebastian Stan as the Winter Soldier. We don’t know about you, but we got chills at the end of the trailer when the Winter Soldier catches Cap’s shield with his suped up prosthetic arm…and it got us thinking about how many of our favorite heroes and villains have lost a hand (or an arm), but haven’t lost our hearts.
