We So Don’t Look Like This In The Morning

Dropping your kids off at school when you a) live in one of the most exclusive areas of London and b) make your living as a fashion icon, is not the ordinary grab-those-jogging-bottoms and ignore-those-cornflakes-in-your-hair exercise that it would be for most harassed moms. No, Claudia Schiffer and Stella McCartney have standards to live up to, goddamnit, and turn up at the school gates looking freakishly goddess-like for 8am. Which is why we’re glad we’re not the other moms who share curb-space with them at this time – it must be so depressing.

Guess Who’s Knockin’ Boots At LFW?

Hey, does anyone remember Mukluks? Famous for about ten minutes five years ago, they were some horrific Ugg/fur boots hybrid. Now if you imagine the fur is taken off them, some laces have been added and (yikes) given a peep-toe and a heel, you’d come close to achieving this unholy alliance in footwear. But who would wear such a thing? Those kookily-painted different toenails are a clue… Find out after the jump!

Posh Parties At Vogue Dinner – But Did She Eat?

Victoria Beckham‘s ascension from former Spice Girl with a dodgy track record in solo singles to top fashionista was officially confirmed last night when she attended the Vogue dinner for London Fashion Week. Looking skinnier than ever, Posh wore one of her own creations to the star-studded dinner at Le Caprice restaurant, which was also attended by Alexa Chung, Agyness Deyn, Henry Holland, Naomi Campbell and Daisy Lowe – still continuing in her oh-so-unmodelly practice of smiling at the cameras, which we totally love.

We bet Posh was abso-frickin-lutely thrilled to be at the event, and can only imagine her enjoyment was translated into ordering her favorite frozen grapes “dinner” from the menu. Mmmm!

Is Brad Pitt All Right?

Seriously, is he? The beard is one thing as it just makes him look old and reminds us that he’s nearly 46 and not that sexy spring chicken of Thelma And Louise days. But the shoes are really what’s worrying us here. Is it possible that one-time Sexiest Man Alive Brad Pitt is stepping out in monogrammed loafers?

Maybe it was a hilarious wheeze concocted by that other aging dreamboat, George Clooney. Maybe Maddox and the kids got them done for him for Father’s Day and he’s got to show willing. Or maybe he’s reaching the age where comfort takes precedence over style and the initials just help him find his shoes in the dark. Good God. [Photo: Getty Images Entertainment]

TheFABlife At Fashion Week: Our Top Ten Moments At The Tents

We have done Mercedes-Benz New York Fashion Week five times, and this was by far the most fabulous of them all. The energy in New York City was back, and more celebrities than ever came out to the tents to watch the models show off the new looks for Spring 2010. From hanging with Rihanna on Fashion’s Night Out to hosting our own Fashion Week party to checking out the hottest in shoes and clothing, this Fashion Week was truly amazing. Jack Osbourne Rocks A No-Fro

That’s as in under no circumstances ever should this be an acceptable hairstyle for Mr Jack Osbourne. The adrenaline-loving son of Ozzy and Sharon brought his new hair-don’t to the streets of London over the weekend and we can’t remember the last time we saw such an ill-advised grow-out. Probably the last time Jack grew his hair like this. We have much respect for Jack as he’s a very cool bloke indeed, but no! No! No! (As Amy Winehouse would say)

RiRi Borrows Her Dad’s Shirt

Only Rihanna could look hot wearing her dad’s shirt. Riri paired the men’s white collared shirt with patterned leggings, a bustier, and gray boots when she headed out to the 40/40 club in New York City on Saturday night. Topped off with those cool shades, the “Disturbia” singer always looks fashionable, even in a getup no one else really could pull off. [Photo: Splash News Online]

Emmys Red Carpet: White-Hot Gowns And Old School Glamour

The gowns that graced the red carpet at last night’s 61st Annual Emmy Awards were somewhat forgettable, but still certainly drool-inducing. Highlights of the night included Mad Men housewife January JonesVersace art deco gown and House doctor Olivia Wilde‘s scantily laced frock. The biggest female comedians in the biz Tina Fey and Amy Poehler bored with basic black, while fellow funny lady Sarah Silverman looked frightening in a blue Marie Antoinette-era gown. On a sexier note, curve-lover Kim Kardashian channeled J-Lo in a single-sleeved hip-hugging dress.

The Coolest Fashion Front Row Ever?

Minus Peaches Geldof, of course. Oh, we’re being a little bit mean, but don’t the other three look like the coolest girlband ever? Alexa Chung, British actress Jaime Winstone and Olivia Palermo made up an impressive front row at London Fashion Week’s Topshop Unique show yesterday, rocking a series of eclectic and sexy looks.

Olivia also revealed her fashion rules to mag Grazia, confessing that a statement heel, mixing and matching high-end with high street and wearing one structured piece per outfit gives her her look.  That may be, but we doubt following any of these rules would lead to us looking anywhere near as flawless and adorable as Olivia in about a billion years.

Emma Watson Does Want To Dress You, After All

We were giving claps to Harry Potter actress Emma Watson only a few months ago, when the style-savvy actress was quoted as saying she wasn’t interested in lending her name to a celebrity fashion range. But, as we know, a couple months is a long time in celebrity-ville, and Emma’s now reportedly reneged on her words to bring us…yes, her very own fashion line! But at least it’s for an ethical clothing range.

“I was excited by the idea of using fashion as a tool to alleviate poverty and knew it was something I could help make a difference with,” she said of her collaboration with the People Tree brand. Um, worthy claps, instead, Emma! Ahem. [Photo: WireImage]
