Seriously, is he? The beard is one thing as it just makes him look old and reminds us that he’s nearly 46 and not that sexy spring chicken of Thelma And Louise days. But the shoes are really what’s worrying us here. Is it possible that one-time Sexiest Man Alive Brad Pitt is stepping out in monogrammed loafers?
Maybe it was a hilarious wheeze concocted by that other aging dreamboat, George Clooney. Maybe Maddox and the kids got them done for him for Father’s Day and he’s got to show willing. Or maybe he’s reaching the age where comfort takes precedence over style and the initials just help him find his shoes in the dark. Good God. [Photo: Getty Images Entertainment]
We have done Mercedes-Benz New York Fashion Week five times, and this was by far the most fabulous of them all. The energy in New York City was back, and more celebrities than ever came out to the tents to watch the models show off the new looks for Spring 2010. From hanging with Rihanna on Fashion’s Night Out to hosting our own Fashion Week party to checking out the hottest in shoes and clothing, this Fashion Week was truly amazing. That’s as in under no circumstances ever should this be an acceptable hairstyle for Mr Jack Osbourne. The adrenaline-loving son of Ozzy and Sharon brought his new hair-don’t to the streets of London over the weekend and we can’t remember the last time we saw such an ill-advised grow-out. Probably the last time Jack grew his hair like this. We have much respect for Jack as he’s a very cool bloke indeed, but no! No! No! (As Amy Winehouse would say)
Only Rihanna could look hot wearing her dad’s shirt. Riri paired the men’s white collared shirt with patterned leggings, a bustier, and gray boots when she headed out to the 40/40 club in New York City on Saturday night. Topped off with those cool shades, the “Disturbia” singer always looks fashionable, even in a getup no one else really could pull off. [Photo: Splash News Online]
The gowns that graced the red carpet at last night’s 61st Annual Emmy Awards were somewhat forgettable, but still certainly drool-inducing. Highlights of the night included Mad Men housewife January Jones‘ Versace art deco gown and House doctor Olivia Wilde‘s scantily laced frock. The biggest female comedians in the biz Tina Fey and Amy Poehler bored with basic black, while fellow funny lady Sarah Silverman looked frightening in a blue Marie Antoinette-era gown. On a sexier note, curve-lover Kim Kardashian channeled J-Lo in a single-sleeved hip-hugging dress.

Minus Peaches Geldof, of course. Oh, we’re being a little bit mean, but don’t the other three look like the coolest girlband ever? Alexa Chung, British actress Jaime Winstone and Olivia Palermo made up an impressive front row at London Fashion Week’s Topshop Unique show yesterday, rocking a series of eclectic and sexy looks.
Olivia also revealed her fashion rules to mag Grazia, confessing that a statement heel, mixing and matching high-end with high street and wearing one structured piece per outfit gives her her look. That may be, but we doubt following any of these rules would lead to us looking anywhere near as flawless and adorable as Olivia in about a billion years.
We were giving claps to Harry Potter actress Emma Watson only a few months ago, when the style-savvy actress was quoted as saying she wasn’t interested in lending her name to a celebrity fashion range. But, as we know, a couple months is a long time in celebrity-ville, and Emma’s now reportedly reneged on her words to bring us…yes, her very own fashion line! But at least it’s for an ethical clothing range.
“I was excited by the idea of using fashion as a tool to alleviate poverty and knew it was something I could help make a difference with,” she said of her collaboration with the People Tree brand. Um, worthy claps, instead, Emma! Ahem. [Photo: WireImage]
This may come as no surprise, but supermodel and Project Runway host Heidi Klum defied all logic last night at the Emmys by looking as hot as ever while in her final trimester. In an interview with Ryan Seacrest, Klum stated she believes that the bigger you get, the tighter you should go. Well, her theory certainly worked for her, as her black gown hugged her with-child curves.
Reality star Kourtney Kardashian went for a more typical maternity gown, but looked beautiful nonetheless as she glowed in navy blue. Which knocked-up celeb looked more glamorous? [Photos: Getty Images]
While Gossip Girl may not be Emmy-worthy, its stars showed up looking as glamorous as any nominee. Though Blake Lively‘s braid could’ve looked more polished, her body looked bangin’ in a clingy bright red Versace. Leighton Meester looked as classy as her GG character in an all-white draped dress with dramatic makeup. The co-stars have totally different senses of style… which one looked more ravishing on the red carpet? [Photos: Getty Images]
Leona Lewis totally blew us away last week at “VH1 Divas,” and she also revealed a new tattoo she’s had done on her wrist. The down-to-earth Brit got some letters inked in tribute to her long-term boyfriend Lou, much like Victoria Beckham did for David a few years back. But Leona’s not spilling as to what her new words mean, saying, “It’s incredibly private and something that we both had done. It’s Hebrew letters and I’m thrilled with it. I can’t reveal what it is. Some things need to remain private for me.”
Um, well until anyone who can read Hebrew spots it, that is. [Photo: WireImage]
