Diva In Training: Lourdes Ready For World Domination

Since the beginning of the year, we’ve started to notice Madonna‘s daughter Lourdes a lot more. She’s already developed a kick-ass style and was featured in her mom’s music video for “Celebration” looking spookily like Madge in her “Like A Virgin” days. And according to a report in Grazia, Lourdes’ emergence on the world stage is all down to master-manipulator Madonna, saying, “It is no coincidence that [her] “coming out” ceremony has taken place on her mother’s stage…when the time was right it was always destined to be a Madonna production.”

Regardless of Madonna’s hand in all of this (and hey, we’d expect her mom to be in control of everything, what with Lola not even being a teenager yet), we’re more impressed by a roll-call of Lourdes’ achievements. “Lola is fluent in French, Spanish and Italian, takes after-school language, dance and yoga classes, along with cultural and philosophical studies. She regularly comes top of her year academically,” the mag reports. It won’t be a big surprise, but we’re expecting this girl to be a force to be reckoned with in the future. Christina Milian Marries!

Christina Milian has tied the knot! Less than two months after announcing her engagement to music producer The-Dream, the two wed at Las Vegas’ Little White Wedding Chapel. The two entertainers were reportedly very low maintenance, with Christina renting her wedding dress for $200 and The-Dream donning a $100 tuxedo.

Christina was certainly right when she stated in July of her upcoming nuptials, “It’s not going to be too big.”

Heidi Klum Savvily Bashes Karl Lagerfeld

As if Heidi Klum wasn’t graceful enough, balancing a powerhouse career as a supermodel and host of “Project Runway,” while keeping hubby Seal and their soon-to-be family of six smiling, Heidi found quite a slick way to respond to Karl Lagerfeld‘s dis of her career. The Chanel designer recently snarked, “I don’t know Heidi Klum. She was never known in France. Claudia Schiffer also doesn’t know who she is.”

Heidi responds in the new issue of Page Six Magazine, saying, “I don’t know why [Karl] said that. Maybe he wanted to be in the paper? Maybe he doesn’t understand what I do? It’s bizarre to me that he says he doesn’t know who I am because he’s dressed me in the past. I’ve worn Karl Lagerfeld. Not even Chanel—his line. Lagerfeld doesn’t just send random things everywhere, so it was a big thing for me [to wear his label] to the CFDA Awards a few years ago. I don’t know how he missed that, when he dressed me that time. But you know, it’s cool. People can say whatever they want to say. You can’t please everybody, and you can’t live your life wanting to please everybody either.”

Take that! [Source: Page Six Magazine; Photo: Rankin]

Kourtney And Her Baby Bump Hit The Beach

Six-months pregnant Kourtney Kardashian covered up her baby bump with a baggy top – even while going for a swim! – while spending time on Miami beach this weekend with her babydaddy Scott Disick. Expecting their first child together around Christmas, the couple made the most of the Labor Day weekend by having a lazy Sunday afternoon together, and looked adorable while doing so. Cuddling up on the sunloungers and messing about in the sea, these two made impending parenthood look like a beautiful Calvin Klein-style commercial. Cute. [Photos: Splash News Online]

Eff those fat accusations! Jessica Simpson showed all the haters that you can be a buffalo chicken wing-loving Southern girl and still work it on the runway just as ferociously as a rail-thin model who maintains a steady diet of Marlboro lights and Pellegrino.
