Although Kristen Stewart can glam it up like no other on the red carpet, it’s no secret that she’s much more at home in a pair of jeans and sneakers. Then again, aren’t we all? The only difference is that Kristen can make a vintage t-shirt look just as Vogue-y as a zillion dollar Monique Lhuillier dress! Whatever the occasion, the actress has made a habit of changing out of her high style gowns (or suits) into something a little more chill as the evening goes on. Last night was no different as Kstew ditched the sheer Marchesa she wore to the Snow White And The Huntsman premiere in London for a more rock ‘n’ roll jeans and leather jacket. She reportedly partied until 5 AM at Quo Vadis Private Members Club along side fellow SWATH star Charlize Theron and “boyfriend” (!) Robert Pattinson. Rock on, Kristen! Check out some of her best dress up/dress down looks in the gallery below.
Love comes comes in many varieties. For some like Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson, it’s somewhat muted, quiet and shy, while for others like Emma Stone and Andrew Garfield, it’s a bit more obvious for all the world to see. But both are equally adorable!
RPattz and KStew were snapped departing Vancouver airport today after wrapping up re-shoots for Breaking Dawn Part 2. The two took looked their classic, comfy casual selves in dark sweats, sunglasses and bored-with-the-paps facial expressions. Kristen Stewart had on a pair of her trademark sneakers, which were perfect foot attire for slipping the hell away from photographers as fast as possible!
Andrew Garfield and his girlfriend/The Amazing Adventures of Spider-Man co-star Emma Stone took a slightly different approach as they were out strolling in NYC’s West Village this afternoon. They noticed the photographers and stared right back at them, pointing and laughing! From the looks on their faces, it seems like they’re saying, “Thiiiiis guyyyyy.” Check out the gallery below for more young couple cuteness!
Just a few days after we learned that Kristen Stewart signed on to play a troubled girl who sells a failed snuff film in Cali, Robert Pattinson’s next gritty role has been announced. According to Variety, the Twilight star is attached to Mission: Blacklist, a military thriller based on the book Mission: Blacklist #1, which recounts how an interrogator in Tikrit helped capture Saddam Hussein.
We assume RPattz will play Staff Sgt. Eric Maddox (pictured above, right), the interrogator who co-wrote the book with David Seay. According to the book’s website: “The story begins with Sergeant Maddox’s arrival in Iraq in July 2003 and extends through to when he pinpoints Hussein’s location, just hours before the expiration of his tour in December 2003. Central to the story are the interrogations of progressively more important insurgents as Sergeant Maddox closes in on Hussein’s location. During these interrogations, Sergeant Maddox undergoes his own process of self-discovery, as he learns the art of interrogation, how to find the right psychological lever among the target’s fears, hopes, ambitions and pride that, once pressure is applied, coaxes the target to divulge the information he conceals.” Read more…
Is this the dawn of a new era? The 2012 MTV Movie Awards nominations were announced today, and we’re not sure whether to be surprised about them: The Hunger Games and Bridesmaids lead the pack, with eight nominations apiece; Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 2 and 21 Jumpstreet follow with six nods each; and The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1 is way down on the list with only two nominations. After so many years of Twilight mania ruling the show, does this mark the end of an era? Maybe. But it’s also pretty obviously the result of the nominees being chosen entirely by a panel of actors, producers and other insiders rather than by fans as it was last year, when Eclipse lead the pack with eight nods.
Of course, Twi-hards should be relieved to see Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart in their time-honored slot among the Best Kiss nominees. As we predicted, they’ll be going liplock-to-liplock with Hunger Games’ Josh Hutcherson and Jennifer Lawrence — along with Crazy, Stupid, Love’s Ryan Gosling and Emma Stone, Deathly Hallows’Rupert Grint and Emma Watson, and The Vow’s Rachel McAdams and Channing Tatum. When VH1 News caught up with Hutcherson last month, he didn’t think he had too much of a chance to beat Robsten.
So, we just got these two new stills from The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 2, and while we don’t want to look a gift horse in the mouth — thanks, Summit! — it’s really kind of hard to be excited about them. Except in theory. In theory, they are part of the slow build toward the movie’s release that will inevitably accelerate come fall, with piles and piles of clips and stills and interviews. And really, we like seeing Bella and Edward together as happy — if slightly apprehensive? — vampires. And Jacob looking, well, like Jacob. Put these photos next to The Feathers. And next to all of the images we’ve seen and screengrabbed and analyzed from the teaser trailer. This, like, redefines tease.
Actually, I think I know what’s going on here. Wild conjecture alert. The Twilight publicity team were just planning to take a nice breather before their big onslaught, but then they too heard all about Robert Pattinson’s and Kristen Stewart’s inadvertent competition at Cannes, and they thought, “Let’s just remind those folks of the Twilight franchise’s indie roots.” And then in the summer, they’ll let us see some pics that will remind us that Part 2 becomes “X-Men: Vampire Faceoff.” But seriously, we need some Renesmee photos, please. And maybe that arm-wrestling scene Kellan Lutz reminded us about. Damn. November is really far away.
Greetings, faithful readers and readers who accidentally stumbled here! You’ve probably noticed that “here” is a little different from what it was yesterday. The blog formerly known as TheFABlife.com is now VH1 Celebrity.

We’re still enjoying this little breather in between awards season madness and summer blockbusters, but our own Kate Spencer already has the MTV Movie Awards on her mind — specifically, the Best Kiss Golden Popcorn, which has been dominated by Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson for three years now. When she got a minute with Hunger Games cutie Josh Hutcherson at the NewNowNext Awards, she gave him the toughest of tough questions: Will Katniss and Peeta’s cave kiss rival any of Bella and Edward’s from Breaking Dawn – Part 1?
“I don’t know, they had a great kiss,” he admitted. “Theirs was so passionate. Ours was like, I was on my deathbed, wasn’t very sexy. I don’t know, we’ll see. Maybe. I’d be so lucky. One can only hope.” Read more…
We took a look at the women who are establishing themselves as the action heroines of the future, as well as some actresses from whom we want to see more onscreen butt-kicking. Did we miss anyone on our list? Check out our gallery and then let us know!
As ifThe Hunger Games weren’t amazing enough, we got a sneak peek at Breaking Dawn – Part 2in the previews beforehand (watch it above!), in which Bella is finally an ass-kicking, vegetarian vampire. And since we’re such Twilight geeks around here, we’re gonna give you our thoughts on the 90 seconds of goodness.
1. We love vampire Bella, and we love her in blue. We’re desperate to see her actually annihilate something, and while we didn’t quite get a serious smack-down in the trailer, we drooled while watching her stalk that deer. Oh, Volturi, we look forward to your demise at the hands of our dear Bella Swan Cullen.
2. Is it just us, or does Edward’s voice sound extra, uh, turned on by vampire Bella? It’s got a growl to it that was more contained when Bella was human. And while we loved the honeymoon love scenes in Breaking Dawn: Part 1, we’re wayyyyy more excited about the vamp-on-vamp action that awaits us in this flick. Yes, we’re pervs, and we suspect some of you are too. Bring on the cabin in the woods!
3. Well hello there, Jacob. What a saunter you have! Taylor Lautner‘s all man these days and yeah, we’re into it. So what?
What we want for the next teaser trailer: More action, please! We finally get to see Bella’s powers at work in this film, so come on, give us the goods! Battle scenes would be much appreciated. And we’re desperate to see Edward and Bella as parents with a wee Renesmee under their wings. Sigh. How long is it til November?
Remember that time in Twilight when Edward Cullen was a jaded young billionaire who liked to play with guns and have dirty sex in his limo on the way to get his haircut? Um, well, no. Robert Pattinson‘s not really channeling his sensitive hero to play Eric Packer in David Cronenberg’s Cosmopolis. From what we can tell after seeing the teaser for the movie, a French-subtitled version making the rounds today, he’s playing someone harder than a vampire’s glittery skin. “Show me something I don’t know,” he tells the half-naked woman pointing a gun at his chest, his accent kind of reminding us of Robert De Niro’s in Taxi Driver.
What we do know is that, as much as RPattz may want to shed Edward Cullen and attract a new audience to his work with his role, the Twi-hards are going to follow him through whatever left turns he takes in his career. Witness Cosmopolis’ surprise win in MTV’s Movie Brawl in January. The dark twistiness of a Cronenberg film may come as a shock to some Twilight fans, but not to those grownup ones who, after all, are devoted to a series about young people who drink blood to live forever. So now we’re going to play a little game called Twilight/Not Twilight with this teaser.
