Twilight’s Non-Cullen Vampires, From Cam Gigandet To Jamie Campbell Bower, Compete For This Week’s Hotness

If you’re like us, you’ve been following this election nonstop for a while — and if you’re like us, you mean the presidential election as much as the Twi-Fight going on over on MTV. Now we’re on pins and needles waiting to see if Kate or Jasper could possibly pull off an upset against Bella and Edward. But we also think it was kind of sadistic to pit the Cullens against any of the other vampires in the franchise. That’s why we decided to make our own little contest here this week — and to make the criteria a little bit simpler: we’re asking you to judge Volturi, Denalis, Amazonians and James’ crew all alike, purely based on their hotness. This is also tough, considering the fact that in Stephenie Meyer‘s mythology, all vampires are hot. But your blood might sing for some more than others. We managed to narrow this down to 20 vamps in all, now it’s your turn! Peruse the pics and vote. Poll closes Monday at 8 a.m.

Robert Pattinson Reveals What Really Happened On Those Golf Outings With Anthony Mackie

When Anthony Mackie first told VH1 News about his playing golf with his “homeboy” Robert Pattinson, we were ecstatic about the image of the two in their best crazy-print pants, tee-ing off and shooting the breeze, or insert some other golf-y thing here. So of course when Kate Spencer got the chance to sit down with Rob at the Breaking Dawn – Part 2 press day last week, she asked him about his game. And then Rob promptly shattered our dreams.

“I don’t understand where this has come from!” Rob said, laughing. “I’ve seen him do another interview as well. I’m like, what is this? He’s really deadpan joking about it. I mean, I would love to, but, uh. Unless this has happened without me realizing it. Which is possible.”

Oh, no! Is someone drugging Rob and placing him on random man-dates with Hollywood’s finest actors? Also, is Anthony pulling our leg about HIS ENTIRE FRIENDSHIP with Rob, or just about the golf thing? Because if those two aren’t friends yet, as the Hurt Locker also claimed to MTV earlier this year, we need to set them up. Their dry sense of humor is perfectly calibrated for each other! OR, maybe Rob is the one messing with us (and Anthony) and he’s making up the fact that Anthony made it up.

On the other hand, Rob’s “incredulous” expression is one of our favorites, so maybe more people should make up harmless stories like this:

Exclusive: Kristen Stewart Talks Maternal Urges, Says “I Know I’m Gonna Be A Mom”

Kristen Stewart plays a mom in Breaking Dawn 2, which IMHO, is even more fierce than being a vampire (but I’m a mom, so I’m probably biased). She totally nails the ferocious, feral mother thing in the film, and told me that it was the ”one thing in the story that I took to.”

Says Kristen, “I’ve always thought that I was going to be a mom, but so so so far down the line. I’m not the type of person that’s like, “Oh, I can’t wait!” And I’m not hugely into babies, I don’t melt over the baby thing. But there’s something about protecting your own that is just absolutely ingrained me. I know that I’m gonna probably be a mom.”

As for that instinctive  protective mom vibe, she says, “I definitely felt that. It was one of my favorite thing about playing this part, how animal she gets.”

In true Kristen fashion, she responded to my compliment about her onscreen mothering skills with “Cool! That’s f*cking awesome.”

Kristen also said she currently feels like a mom to her two dogs Bear and Bernie.

Breaking Dawn – Part 2 MTV First: Taylor, Rob And Kristen’s 10 Cutest Moments

Seeing Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner get to make fun of my old pal Josh Horowitz one last time is reason enough for me to hope for some kind of weird spin-off movie one day, far off in the future. This can’t be the last time! But until that strange day comes to pass, we’ll instead wax nostalgic about the live stream that happened tonight, with a look back at the stars’ sweetest moments on the Breaking Dawn – Part 2 MTV First. Where Does Green Day’s “The Forgotten” Rank Among The Twilight-iest Of Twilight Videos?

For five years now, there’s been one big event that truly marks the beginning of Twilight season: The premiere of the first video from the latest movie’s soundtrack. Last night, we saw the premiere of Green Day’s “The Forgotten,” the first single off Breaking Dawn -Part 2‘s disc. It combines a lot of the elements we’ve seen in earlier Twilight videos — clips of Edward and Bella, beautiful forest scenes, that filter that makes everything look like an old home movie — while also being very Green Day. You’re not going to see Billie Joe and company strolling about in the woods, even if this song is rather emo. Instead, they’re performing in a concert and a recording studio.

Robert Pattinson Previews His Breaking Dawn – Part 2 O Face

Remember when all we could talk about for Breaking Dawn – Part 1 was that headboard-cracking wedding night? Much to our relief, the honeymoon isn’t over for Edward and Bella in Part 2, even though Stephenie Meyer let the vamps have their privacy in the book. Speaking to Australian radio’s Kyle and Jackie O Show, Robert Pattinson said this new sex scene was one of the most challenging to shoot in the whole series.

“It’s supposed to be about, like, the greatest vampire sex you’ve ever had,” Rob said of the “ridiculous” scene. “So a lot of it was just closeups on me and Kristen’s faces, but there was no one else there. So it’s literally like, try and give a face of ecstasy. … Guys’ faces I don’t think are really designed to do that.” We dare to disagree. Just look at this example he gave:

Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart Kick Off Breaking Dawn Promo With Requisite Sweet, Silly Faces

It’s the beginning of the end, guys. We’re having a really hard time believing this is finally here — weren’t we just standing in line at the midnight release party of Breaking Dawn? But yeah, this morning, on the other side of the world, Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart kicked off the big promotional tour for the The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 2 on the Eastern Hemisphere. Kristen just arrived in Tokyo’s Narita Airport, looking way better than anyone should after a trans-Pacific flight, and immediately smiled for the cameras and signed autographs for fans. Rob, meanwhile, did an unbelievably sexy photo shoot in Sydney before hitting the red carpet of a fan event. Of course, that’s where he made plenty of silly faces for his adoring public.
