Maya Karin - This Malaysian television personality, actress, and singer got hitched this year to her British sweetheart Steven David Shorthose, who took the Muslim name Muhammed Ali. She has starred in films such as Sri Dewi Malam and Pantiak Harum Sundal Malamand and released her album Erti Cinta in 2002 which was nominated for two Anugerah Industri Muzik (Malaysian Grammys) awards.
