Jennifer Lopez was in full “look at me!” mode at last night’s Golden Globe Awards. Her dress alone was an attention grabber, and the slinky gold number reminded us of that headline-making, lowcut Versace she rocked at the Grammys in 2000. But J.Lo didn’t stop at the gown. While she strolled the red carpet with husband Marc Anthony in tow, her wedding ring was noticeably absent. Wow, could her master plan be any more obvious?
Jen needs attention, and she’ll take it anyway she can get it. If the dress doesn’t work, she just creates confusion over the state of her marriage. But we’re refusing to get swept up in J. Lo mania this time around, and it looks like we’re not alone. Apparently Marc has agreed to speak at the Latino Inaugural Ball in Washington D.C. on the 18th, and Jen’s also going to speak at the event. But their presence is pissing off some Latinos for Obama, who are upset that the Anthonys didn’t publicly support the President-Elect or donate to his campaign. Also on their sh*t list for performing but not donating: Rihanna and Mariah Carey. Hey, maybe J. Lo should be happy with the negative publicity – it’s better than nothing at all!
