Jennifer Lopez may not be the megastar she was ten years ago, but there are a few circles where she can still play queen. One such playground was last night’s World Music Awards, where the professional partygoers (Hayden Panettiere, Michelle Rodriguez, Paris Hilton) seemed to outnumber the popular musicians (Akon, ok, but The Scorpions?). In exchange for a Legend for Outstanding Contribution to the Arts trophy, J. Lo pranced took the stage in a series of slinky, curve-enhancing dresses. As for that cane dance…maybe she was acknowledging the elderly implications of accepting a “Legend” award at 40. See her show in the gallery below.
