Posh Beckham Denies Courting Fame, Forgets Her Reality Shows

by Anthony Miccio

Victoria Beckham is sick and tired of being perceived as some kind of attention-seeker. “We lead our lives in a much more low-profile way than people think,” says Posh. I’m not going to The Ivy. I don’t think I’ve been to a premiere since we moved there. We’re not courting fame.”

Of course she’s not. Why would anyone assume that a woman who has starred in five reality programs is “courting fame”? Maybe she thinks she’s low-profile because she has “a list of numerous restaurants that have underground parking so no one can get any photographs,” but anyone who wrote their autobiography before the age of 30 is “courting fame.” Anyone who has a prime-time special about her arrival in America titled Victoria Beckham: Coming To America is “courting fame.” Quotes like this just mean more flying paparazzi monkeys outside her door. Not that she’d have it any other way.

Check out the gallery for some examples of Posh avoiding the limelight this year.
