Yesterday, TMZ said Tony Parker is divorcing wife Eva Longoria Parker—rumors that were quickly denied by Eva’s people. Now Us Magazine says that Eva is planning to divorce Tony! “Eva is heartbroken by the betrayal,” says their source. “Once the trust was lost, the marriage was over—Eva truly thought she was going to grow old with Tony and have children with him—she’s inconsolable.” According to the mag, the NBA star was sexting outside the family phone plan. Honestly, how did athletes deal with chicks on the side before cell phones?
But here’s the more important question: why would Us come forward with a story so close to the one TMZ retracted? Considering Eva’s already on the cover of Us, its possible her camp had sold the story to the mag a while back, forcing a quick denial when TMZ blindsided them with the courthouse scoop. Tony filing papers on Eva would certainly screw up any Sandra Bullock-esque narrative they’re planning (TMZ now says Eva has filed papers in LA). Make some popcorn: if these guys can’t get their stories straight, we could be in for quite a show.
