It must be hard to be nominated for a Golden Globe and go home empty-handed, but looking dazzling while losing is always a great consolation prize. Scandalist was absolutely in awe of the gorgeous gowns that floated down the red carpet last night at the Golden Globes. The ladies of Tinseltown did not disappoint – even if they left disappointed.

Anne Hathaway may have crumbled (so we imagine) after losing Best Actress to double-winner Kate Winslet, but at least she still looked stunning in her Armani Privé gown while weeping in a bathroom stall.
