1. Sylvester Stallone Makes A Deal: Many times actors try to break into other careers, like singing, and it doesn’t always work out. Sylvester Stallone’s foray into the art world, however, appears to be working out just fine! Sly made quite a deal at Art Basel last Wednesday, when he unloaded two of his paintings for a whopping $90,000. Hotelier Steve Wynn grabbed an abstract piece for $40,000 and a self-portrait from the 70s was purchased by an art gallery for $50,000. We just had to check out some of Sly’s work, so we slipped on a tres South Beach turquoise Margi Kent top and skirt and headed over to the Miami Convention Center to see what was cooking. We perused the galleries during a press sneak peek the day before it was open to the public and besides the amazing artwork, checking out the people was half the fun. “I wonder if these girls are gold diggers or trust fund babies who are actually looking to buy something,” we overheard a gentlemen say while checking out two hot blondes who were lingering by a bejeweled deer.
