Taylor Swift Is A Lady In Red: After a tumultuous week, where at Sunday’s VMAs Kanye West stole her thunder, Taylor Swift emerged at the Tommy Hilfiger show on Thursday as a vision in red. The VMA-winning singer channeled old Hollywood glamor with her upswept hair and elegant makeup and was gracious while palling around backstage with other celebrities including Russell Simmons. Designer Margi Kent thinks Taylor's choice was all kinds of right! “Taylor Swift looks fabulous in red. Every time she wears a classic solid color it showcases her confidence, credibility and her undeniable talent. This red dress is fresh and age appropriate and doesn’t get in the way of the artist. I love it,” the designer told TheFABlife. Take that, Kanye! Looking fantastic is the best revenge!
After the Tommy Hilfiger show and after party, this Fashion Week had come to a close. It was bittersweet, as TheFABlife really cannot EVER get enough amazing clothes, shoes, and parties, but it can be exhausting running all around the city with the Fashion Week parade! After nineteen events, thirteen outfits, and two broken stilettos, Fashion Week is a wrap. Looks like we get a little rest until February, when Fashion Week takes place for the last time in the Bryant Park tents before moving to Lincoln Center, but not before we hit Paris Fashion Week on September 30th, where there is sure to be a tornado of fabulous parties, fashion, and celebrity antics at the Mecca of Fashion Weeks!
