Clive Owen may have a lot of female fans, but he’s had a hard time getting them to go see his movies. Only two of the nine movies he’s made over the last five years, Sin City and The Inside Man, were hits in the U.S.—and both featured bigger male stars (Bruce Willis and Denzel Washington, respectively). Some of the others, including the critical favorite Children Of Men and his latest, The International, have failed to even recoup their budget.
