On Sunday, Justin Theroux returns to the small screen with his starring role in HBO’s The Leftovers as Kevin Garvey, the police chief in the suburban community coping with life after the rapture. Theroux, who has starred in a number of movies and appeared on popular shows, such as Six Feet Under, has recently become most famous for being Jennifer Aniston’s boyfriend. That’s why his return to TV is so exciting.
The role is his first on screen appearance since 2012′s Wanderlust, which co-starred you’ll never guess who. While the film was a mild success, it didn’t showcase the many talents of Theroux, which are often overshadowed by his relationship with Aniston. Are they getting married? Is she pregnant? Is Theroux better than John Mayer? Does he have cold feet? Does she? Frankly, we don’t care because we are excited about the man that appears on screen but also does a lot behind the scenes, including writing and directing the sequel to the cult-classic, Zoolander. How is that for unexpected?
So click through the gallery above to enjoy looking at, while learning a little bit about Theroux. Trust us, there’s more to him than being Mr. Aniston.

Hollywood sure knows how to hit the floor. As graceful as the camera makes them appear, all stars have had their fair share of clumsy, can’t-watch moments. Unlucky for most, these not-so-glamorous red carpet tumbles almost always go viral.

Starring Chris Evans, Tilda Swinton, Jamie Bell, Octavia Spencer and Ed Harris, Snowpiercer tells the story of a dystopian future when climate change have lay wasted to what remains of Earth. The planet is covered in a deadly permafrost brought on by man’s attempts to reverse years of the planet’s atmospheric destruction. The film is a mouthful of an allegory that will likely become a cult classic than make billions this weekend at the box office. It’s not to say the film is bad — it’s not for everyone — it’s just not your typical blockbuster affair. Fans of Oldboy and Sunshine (also starring Evans), will enjoy the mix of sci-fi, action, and gore presented in Korean director Bong Joon-ho’s film adaption of the French graphic novel Le Transperceneige. Oh yeah, and Tilda Swinton wears a shoe on her head! But that’s just one of the things you should know going into the film.
As it happens every summer, the blockbuster season is filled with film franchises returning to theaters with a new installment. While some franchises testing the waters with sequels — 21 Jump Street and How to Train Your Dragon both released follow ups in June — The Expendables is stepping into trilogy territory. Later this summer, the film will debut its threequel in theaters. But the question is, will it push forward with a fourth (Transformers) or seventh (Fast and Furious), or just stick with three?
The famed trilogy has worked out for a number of franchises, from the planned (Star Wars) to the “let’s just do it for fun” (Ocean’s). But how successful were all three films? While fans covet all three Star Wars films, The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi both made over $100 million less than A New Hope at the box office. However it’s not the case for every franchise. We examined some of movie’s most beloved trilogies to figure out what was the peak installment.
For up-and-coming actors in the ’90s, snagging a guest role on Boy Meets World was like portraying a deranged murderer on Law & Order. The series was a staple on ABC’s TGIF lineup, geared towards adolescent and teenage fans who loyally followed the show’s characters from junior high to college over the course of seven seasons.
