Celebrity Doppelgangers: Is Logan Marshall-Green Secretly Tom Hardy?

Logan Marshall-Green, Tom Hardy, Prometheus premiere

Who is Logan Marshall-Green, you ask? He’s the dude on the right who wore that awesome Balenciaga by Nicholas Ghesquiere suit at the Prometheus premiere last night. He’s starring in the movie as Charlie Holloway, an archaeologist and Noomi Rapace‘s love interest. On the left we have the actor formerly known as Tom Hardy. At least we think it is, because we can’t tell who it really is under that huge bushy beard. Tom’s about to work with Charlize Theron — also starring in Prometheus — in Mad Max: Fury Road, which kicks off production in a few weeks.

We have a theory, though. The guy on the left ain’t Tom Hardy … because Logan Marshall-Green is. Yes, what we’re trying to say is that Logan is secretly Tom. Look at him. He’s more Tom Hardy than Tom Hardy is! Seriously, guys. Jokes aside, you can see this too, right? The resemblance — down to the arched eyebrow and intense stare — is remarkable. Celebrity doppelganger alert! We’re totally on board with this. If there were more guys that looks like Tom-Logan in the world, it would be a better place.

Prometheus Premieres In London, Charlize Theron, Noomi Rapace Play Dress-Up

Prometheus World Premiere, London

Prometheus premiered last night in London, and we were looking forward to see what stars Charlize Theron and Noomi Rapace would wear. Both of them have been having a super fashion year so far, especially Charlize on her Snow White and the Huntsman promotional rounds. Anyone else wearing that midnight blue, semi-sheer, strapless dress by Dior would look terrible. But those rules don’t apply to Charlize, because she ended up convincing us that we liked a dress that we normally would nix. She also wore Dior T-strap heels and Bulgari jewels, and basically, Charlize — we love and hate you in equal measure. The hate comes in because her genetics are enviable. The love, obviously, is because she’s a tall glass of awesome.

Noomi went the gown route, picking a beautiful black Valentino dress with Harry Winston jewelry. It’s simple and so elegant — a very smart choice for her. Also spotted was Salma Hayek wearing lilac Bottega Veneta along with mauve heels and a matching clutch. Again, someone with such a color coordinated palette would look too matchy-matchy, but Salma always makes it work for her. Our last pick is Minnie Driver. She gets our vote for best-dressed, wearing a stunning gold lace overlay Temperley London Pre-Fall 2012 dress. We don’t see much of Minnie around, but as long as she makes the occasional appearance dressed like this, we’ll be just fine.

Justin Bieber Has A Concussion In Paris, Knocked Out By A Glass Wall

Justin Bieber walks into glass window, paris

As someone who has repeatedly walked into glass doors her whole life, I’d like to commiserate with Justin Bieber. I’d also like to tell people who have laughed at me because of the fact that I’m the person who walks into glass doors — it’s not funny! And it hurts like hell. Okay, it’s a little funny when the results are comical, but sometimes, those glass panes can knock the hell out of you. We have a feeling that the Biebs is now going to become a cautionary tale about that sort of accident. He was hurt pretty badly because the poor guy actually ran into a glass wall while performing at his concert in Paris yesterday.

He explained what happened to TMZ saying, ” … I was performing and I was going offstage. Basically, I’m in Paris and I’m performing in the tallest building in Paris and there’s a glass wall behind me, but there’s a railing behind the glass. And so I went to reach for the railing and I hit my head on the glass. I guess me and glass windows don’t really go together.” He also added, “After that, I went offstage and I immediately felt really weak and I was walking down the stairs and I passed out for 15 seconds.” This happened after Justin actually went back on after getting clocked by the glass, and finished his set, which he said happened because of “adrenaline.” What a trooper! The singer had to see a doctor afterwards, who said he had to take it easy and that he had a concussion. But Justin says he feels okay now, thankfully. The glass window could not be reached for comment.

Nope, Taylor Kitsch Won’t Be Playing Finnick Odair In Catching Fire Either

Taylor Kitsch Shuts Down Finnick Odair Catching Fire Rumors

Taylor Kitsch might be down for fighting aliens in John Carter or…well, fighting more aliens in Battleship, but he apparently won’t be donning a skimpy golden fish net as tribute Finnick Odair in the Hunger Games‘ sequel Catching Fire. “Not going to happen,” he replied to Los Angeles Times writer Amy Kaufman in response to the rumors. Luckily, the casting notice for Catching Fire we spotted earlier this month read “Finnick Odair, male, mid-20s, very handsome, tall, tan skin, bronze hair, green eyes,” so that only leaves…oh jeez, virtually every young actor in Hollywood.

Well, except Robert Pattinson, of course. “I was kind of curious for a second. So I called my agent. My agent was like, ‘No.’ [My agent] was like, ‘No one’s going to offer you that part.’ I was like, ‘Thanks for the reassurance,’ ” the Cosmopolis start told MTV this week. Meanwhile E! Online reported that the casting had been whittled down to Armie Hammer, Garrett Hedlund and Kitsch, and a vocal group of fans has been hyping Cabin In The Woods star Jesse Williams as a possible casting pick. What do you think? Who do you want to see wielding a trident on the big screen next year?

From Black Swan To Kanye West: Breaking Pointe Artistic Director Embraces Ballet For The Masses

Stars of The CW's Breaking Pointe

Will there be high-art snobs who hate the idea of a CW reality show about the lives of ballet dancers? Of course! But Salt Lake City’s Ballet West artistic director Adam Sklute was out to prove them wrong when he let his company be filmed for Breaking Pointe, which premieres this week. “I don’t believe that there should be a strong separation between high art and popular entertainment,” he told VH1 Celebrity. “And in fact, the whole reason for doing this is trying to meld high art with popular entertainment. The more we keep these two things separate, the more we keep ballet separate, and I want it for everyone.”

From the 1960s through the ’80s, Sklute pointed out, ballet was everywhere, and stars like Mikhail Baryshnikov and Rudolf Nureyev were as widely known as Tim Tebow and Jay-Z. With Step Up, Black Swan, ABC Family’s upcoming series Bunheads (and the YA novel on which it’s based), and even Kanye West’s Runaway video, it looks like tutus and tights are back in the mainstream. What’s different about Breaking Pointe is its down and dirty look at dancers’ lives.

“I think it’s also fascinating to see these people who so many people in the general public only see on the stage, and they don’t even look human on the stage,” he said. “To see them being very real and human is a fascination.”

Robert Pattinson Says He And Kristen Stewart Are Writing A Script Together, Because Of Course

Robert Pattinson And Kristen Stewart Writing A Movie

Well, this seemed inevitable, right? Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart have chemistry on-screen, off-screen and, now, hunched over a laptop in the middle of the night arguing about character motivation. But in a cute way! That’s what we imagine it’s like anyway, now that RPatz and KStew are co-writing a movie. “We’re trying to write a script together,” Pattinson revealed to Belgium outlet Ciné Télé Revue. “It won’t be for now but we’ve thought about it for a long time.” Seriously, this is the only logical conclusion we can think of for these two. Well…not the only one. Just by far the most excellent and best.

We could have predicted as much considering the Cosmopolis actor and On the Road star are such movie buffs. “There’s this really contagious energy that happens, that passes between people, that is really unique,” KStew told our very own Kate Spencer about filmmaking earlier this month. “And when you can find people that you can share that artistic energy with, it’s an addiction. You always want to get back to that feeling.” Continued Rob in his interview, “For a year now we both had the chance to evolve in the job we love, especially in those amazing movie projects. Kristen is really ambitious. She knows how to find good scripts, she has the nose for that. I admire her.” Dang, that is the sexiest way to talk about hashing plot structure we have ever heard.

Always Fall In Love At The Jersey Shore: Sammi And Ronnie Are Back At It

Jersey Shore's Sammi And Ronnie Caught Kissing

She just doesn’t know how to quit you, bro. Jersey Shore‘s preeminent love birds Sammi and Ronnie were caught canoodling outside a hotel in New Jersey today on this, the first day of filming for JS‘s new season. Call us crazy, but we’re pretty certain that kiss is the real deal. After seeing their relationship unfold almost entirely in public, we think it’s fair to say these guys are basically our generation’s Elizabeth Taylor and Richard Burton. Or they definitely are, seeing as how virtually no one who watches Jersey Shore will understand or care about that reference.

Maybe we’re the only ones that didn’t see this coming, but we were 99% certain these two were over and done and had already moved on as of last year. “We are not together,” Sammi declared in October after the gang had returned from their fourth season abroad in Italy. During this spring’s Jerseyliciousfifth season, Sam and Ron were so laid-back about their love, we…well, we assumed they had quietly broken up and the show just didn’t get into it. How could we not think that? Remember how insane their relationship was in the third season? Remember The Incident With Sammi’s Glasses? We still wake up in a cold sweat just thinking about it, but good luck, you two! It’s like everyone says: sixth season’s the charm!

Movie Over, Christopher Meloni, Ice-T Says He And Coco Should Play Zombie Vampires In Space

When VH1 sat down with Ice-T at a screening of his film Something From Nothing: The Art of Rap, we did not expect the conversation to go the way of zombie vampires … in space. Ever the awesome interviewee, Ice humored our vampire-obsessed tendencies and fielded some very important questions.

After 12 years, Ice’s Law & Order: SVU co-star Christopher Meloni left the series last year presumably to pursue a film career and obviously for his four-episode stint as Roman on True Blood. As a 500-year-old leader of the Vampire Authority, one could say he traded one form of Law & Order for another, much more undead one. On the departure of Detective Elliot Stabler, Ice said “I’m happy for Chris. At some point, you gotta make your exit… If it’s up to me, [Law & Order] will be on for 20 years.” Hilariously Ice added, “He’s going to the best vampire they’ve ever seen because the man’s crazy – he’s got beady eyes.”

Naturally our imaginations wandered and we had to ask about he and wife Coco‘s vampire potential. “We’d be the best vampires in the history of the world,” Ice-T confidently declared. “But I think we need to be a different kind of vampire… like vampire zombies. [Laughs] The next generation – space zombies or something.”

Full interview below, wherein Ice describes Coco’s undercover love for hard-core gore flicks.

The Weirdness Of Christian Bale Described By His Assistant’s Tell-All Just Makes Us Like Him More

Christian Bale's Assistant Writes Tell-All

Christian Bale‘s former assistant Harrison Cheung seems like he’s out for blood with his new tell-all Christian Bale: The Inside Story of the Darkest Batman, claiming, “It only took me five years of therapy to get past my Bale years. My therapist would describe my condition as post-traumatic stress disorder.” While the details like the fact Christian refused to pay Cheung unless he signed a confidentiality agreement after Cheung started working for him seemed profoundly sketch, other bizarro specifics…actually make us like Bale more. Let’s be real, after the world heard his rant from the set of Terminator: Salvation, we all knew this guy was a little nuts. Certain anecdotes from Cheung’s tell-all, however, make Christian seem nuts in an fabulous, eccentric movie star way. For example…

  • Bales’ on-going rivalry with Leo DiCaprio: DiCaprio snapped up roles Bale wanted from What’s Eating Gilbert Grape? to Romeo & Juliet to Titanic. After temporarily losing his American Psycho role to DiCaprio, Bale ranted to Cheung, “Losing this role is like having a pencil shoved through my brain.” That sentence just proves they ended up going with the right guy!
