Lindsay Lohan has been laying low recently under strict orders from her father, Michael. With a new movie, Inconceivable, set to start production, Lohan is trying to ease the studio’s nerves. Meanwhile, the first trailer for Lohan’s new OWN docu-reality series, Lindsay, premiered overnight. And even Oprah Winfrey is not putting up with Lohan’s antics. “You need to cut the bullshit,” the talkshow host says to the recovering star.
Fans were shocked to learn that Katy Perry and John Mayer split (what’s up with all our favorite couples having trouble?) but new details have put things into perspective. The on and off couple has had trouble in the past, but Mayer won Perry back with the promise of being a better boyfriend. He initially made good on his promise and even wanted to marry her. However, she wasn’t ready for that kind of commitment especially given Russell Brand.
There are countless tales in television and film of women who sell their love for money–and for some reason we can’t stop falling in love with them! Julia Roberts was already a rising star when she played Vivian Ward in Pretty Woman, but it’s her performance as a Hollywood hooker that made her the biggest movie star of her generation. Nicole Kidman dazzled us as the doomed Satine in the romantic and over-the-top Moulin Rouge and Rachel Brosnahan is the latest to steal our heart with her conflicted but beautiful portrayal of Rachel Posner on the hit Netflix series, House of Cards.
How’s John Travolta dealing after his big flub of Idina Menzel‘s name at the Oscars? Angelina Jolie stuns fans on the cover of Entertainment Weekly, and Jared Leto might be taking his career in a new direction.
Which Hollywood hottie is pregnant? Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher take their love to the small screen, and Disney contemplates a Frozen sequel.
If you live in the USA, you now know what a polar vortex feels like. Congratulations. For those of you who might not have experienced the freezing temperatures and blizzards, there’s no other way to describe it other than “very sucky.” Unfortunately for most, we’re kind of stuck with it, lacking the requisite bank balance and time off work to escape to warmer climates. Not true for celebrities, though. Those cashed-up beauties are jet setting all over the place to avoid the cold and flaunting it on their social media accounts, leaving the rest of us soothingly jealous.
The battle between Gwyneth Paltrow and Vanity Fair continues to heat up. While The Gossip Table reported that the actress skipped the magazine’s annual post-Oscars bash, she wasn’t the only to opt out of the event. Paltrow’s publicist pulled his long-reaching strings and convinced Meryl Streep and Sandra Bullock to pass on the event. That’s right, GOOP’s got power.
Last week, fans were shocked to learn that Robin Thicke and Paul Patton were splitting up. The singer must have blurred the lines too much for Patton’s taste because she has reportedly moved on. The actress was spotted cozying up to Mission: Impossible co-star Jeremy Renner at the Independent Spirit Awards sparking rumors the two may be having a bit of fun off screen.
As True Detective wraps up its first season this coming Sunday, fans of the gripping drama are beside themselves with speculation about what will go down in the finale. But there’s at least one devotee of the detective series who already knows the fates of Rust Cohle and Martin Hart — President Barack Obama.
The one thing you need to know about covering red carpets is this: It is every bit as glamorous as it looks and also it is not glamorous at all. It’s a weird biz, honestly: one that finds you peeing in a port-o-pottie in a ball gown minutes before interviewing Benedict Cumberbatch. One second you’re yukking it up with a walking cover of Vanity Fair magazine, and the next your shoving Kind bars into your mouth on a bus back to a parking garage. Not that I am complaining – I am well aware that my job entails standing still in reasonably warm weather with an electric stick in my hand as beautiful humans talk to me. I am very, very grateful for this and I love every second of it. (Almost as much as I love Kind bars.) But it’s a shame we never get to see the unpolished behind-the-scenes side of red carpets, because it’s equally as weird and fun as the carpets themselves.
Please, allow me to solve this problem.
