When someone mentions Tyler Perry, it’s only fair to think of him dressing up in old lady drag, bible thumping, and moralizing about how women shouldn’t open their legs for any good looking dude like they are a 24-hour Golden Corral. (Seriously, did you see Temptation: Confessions of a Marriage Counselor? Way to send a message to women that if they are not faithful, they’re going to get AIDS and everyone will hate them. UGH!)

Just Facts: Has Bill Cosby Ever Been Convicted of a Sex Crime?

Last month, Hannibal Buress called Bill Cosby a rapist during his standup act in Philadelphia. Cosby has never been convicted of a sex crime but this isn’t the first time he has been accused of rape.

Burress, who is also a black comedian, was making the point that he doesn’t value Cosby’s outspoken opinions about African-American conduct because Cosby is (allegedly) a rapist.

By now we all know that Lifetime’s Aaliyah movie was an atrocity. The network has a long history of going for camp — choosing true Hollywood stories that are famous for their salacious details. Sometimes they hit (see: Joan Allen‘s Emmy nomination for 2009′s Georgia O’Keeffe), but most of the time it’s a big mess. And the casting is almost always terrible.
