We’re being bombarded by stories from TMZ and the like about a whole lot of drama going down at the Jackson family home in California. Everything escalated to new heights yesterday, when police were called to Katherine Jackson’s house in the afternoon for a domestic disturbance. Let’s try to sort this out, shall we?
Last week, a letter from Michael’s siblings Randy, Jermaine, Janet, Tito and Rebbie leaked to the Internet demanding that estate executors John Branca and John McClain resign because their mismanagement had caused Katherine to have a mini-stroke. Meanwhile, Katherine Jackson had left the kids at home to attend her sons’ Unity Tour. She reportedly never made it to a show.
On Thursday (July 18), via Twitter, Paris Jackson accused Uncle Randy of purposely leaking said letter to discredit her grandmother. “i am going to clarify right now that what has been said about my grandmother is a rumor and nothing has happened , she is completely fine.”
On Sunday, family members reported Katherine Jackson missing. Paris tweeted that she hadn’t seen her in a week. “If anybody sees my grandmother , please call the authorities or this number— (818)-876-0186 it’s the security number .. thank you so much,” she wrote. But that night, Katherine contacted police to say she was fine. Read more…
Matt Fiddes, a U.K.-based martial arts master, is renewing claims he made back in 2010 that he is the biological father of Michael Jackson’s youngest son, Prince Michael II, a.k.a. Blanket. “I am going to lodge my DNA and formally ask the Jacksons for access,” the 32-year-old, who worked as Jackson’s bodyguard during his time in the U.K., told the Daily Star. “Michael is their father and I do not want that to change, but I want the children back in my life. The only way that’s going to happen is through legal action. I think Blanket is mine but I want final proof.”
Fiddes, who runs a chain of martial arts schools, first made this claim back in 2010, when he told the Daily Mail that he donated sperm to Jackson in 2001, a year before Blanket was born. “He said he wanted a fit, athletic son. He offered me half a million pounds but I said no,” Fiddes told the tabloid. “I was already a multi millionaire and I didn’t need the money or want to take his. He was a friend and I said of course I would help. There was no contract, no confidentially agreement. He was very thankful and respectful and even rang my mum to ask her if it was okay with her.” Read more…
Michael Jackson hid his children from the public to avoid media scrutiny, but now that he’s gone, they’ve shown up on YouTube of all places.Blanket and Paris Jackson are featured in several clips that have shown up online recently that appear to have been shot with their computer’s webcam. In the first clip, Paris raps along to a song that’s performed by Omer Bhatti, the man who denied being Michael’s love child. In another, Blanket gets his nerd on in a fake light saber battle. Bhatti has requested that the clips be removed, but for now, they’re still kicking on the internet. It feels weird and intrusive seeing them hanging out at home, but it’s also impressive that they are such normal kids in spite of what they’ve been through. See the rest of the videos after the jump.
Yes, now would be a good time to channel 2007 and fire up those “Leave Blanket alone!” videos. Children and Family Services are apparently investigating at Katherine Jackson‘s home, where conflicting reports are being leaked to the fine folks (LOL) at TMZ. Some say the gun had been at the house for a few days, while others allege Jafaar had it for just a few minutes before it was removed from his possession.
Either way, kids were playing with a f*cking stun gun. Make that change, Jackson family. Time to start erring on the side of sanity. [Photo: GettyImages]
Michael Jackson‘s youngest child Blanket (the one who looks the most like him) was apparently confused at Michael’s memorial service as to his deceased father’s whereabouts. The seven year old supposedly asked his godfather, Mark Lester, where his father was at the event. Lester, of course, felt this was an entirely appropriate thing to share with the public.
“He said, ‘Where’s Daddy gone? On holiday?’ It was a rhetorical question and it broke my heart,” he said of Blanket. “Prince was taciturn, unusual for him, but we still had a hug. Paris gave me a tight hug and we just held each other for a while. We were both welling up. I told her that her dad would always lie in her heart and be remembered by at least half of the world. Paris replied: ‘I’m just glad he is at peace.’”
Lester went on to detail Paris’ request that she and her brothers spend Christmas with his family, and fretted that the custody dispute might end badly for the Jackson kids. “The possibility that the three children might be split up – Blanket, of course, is by another mother – is unthinkable and I believe it would be disastrous for all of them.”
