As for Boller, this isn’t his first time at the Hollywood blond rodeo. The 28-year-old first draft pick and current back-up QB dated Tara Reid back in 2004—hey, didn’t she just get engaged, too? What a coincidence…or so they would have us think.
In 2009, a lot of ordinary people became famous for next-to-nothing, previously A-list stars fell from grace, and quasi-celebs made outlandish statements for publicity. From the Balloon Boy stunt to Glenn Beck‘s fear-mongering to Tiger Woods‘ mistresses coming out of the woodwork; some people really tested our patience and wore us thin. Here are the top nine “celebrity” losers we hope go into hiding for 2010.
9. Balloon Boy’s Dad: Think little Falcon Henne had any idea about his fame-guzzlin’ father’s publicity plot while he was chillin’ in a box in their attic? We doubt it, and the little guy’s televised bodily functions pretty well summed up how we felt about the whole stunt after we wasted hours of our lives watching an empty weather balloon float above Colorado.
According to TMZ, the producers of the Miss Cali pageant—already this weekend!—are looking for a look-a-like to play Prejean for what will undoubtedly be a less-than-respectful skit. Think they’ll go for the obvious Carrie reference and douse her with pig’s blood? If they find someone worthy of the role (supposedly no one had “nailed it” yet), we’re sure the footage will get out.
Pamela Anderson,Paris Hilton, and Kim Kardashian need to step to the side – there’s a new sex tape queen in town. Disgraced Miss California USA Carrie Prejean has reportedly made not one, but eight sex tapes! An investigation by Radar Online has reportedly uncovered seven more sex tapes and thirty nude photos of the anti-same sex marriage beauty queen. In the tapes, Carrie reportedly wears a flowing white blouse and touches herself in a suggestive manner, even moaning. What would Jesus think?
In her new book, Carrie writes, “God gave us our bodies, and it’s perfectly right that we use them in ways where we can give glory to God by making our bodies, our temples of the Holy Spirit, strong and fast.” So there, haters! [Source: Radar Online; Photo: Getty Images]
Don’t be so sure, Franny. The 75-year-old talk-show host actually spent last night at the “Rock For A Cure” benefit in Vegas with Miss USA Christine Dalton, who beat Prejean for the title earlier this year. “[Carrie's] not afraid of these high-powered idiots that are on TV every night, the gossip mongrels,” said Francine. Fair enough, but judging from his strutting, Larry King isn’t afraid of beauty pageant contestants either.
Carrie Prejean‘s talk show tour hit a snag last night on Larry King Live, when her geriatric interrogator refused to stop asking why she settled her lawsuit against the Miss California people. “Larry, it’s completely confidential and you’re being inappropriate.” Surprised—or at least awoken—by the accusation of inappropriateness, King took a caller and Prejean suddenly removed her mic, talking to someone off camera. It’s…awkward.
When King finally regained her attention, the anti-gay rights activist said “Yeah, I think you are being extremely inappropriate right now, and I’m about to leave your show.” As he stammers for her to put her mic back on, the former Miss Cali sits and smiles to the side for an excruciatingly long time. It was later explained that Prejean believed she would not be made to take callers, apparently wishing to spout her talking points about being victimized by the media without debate. All this and he hadn’t even gotten to her sex tape! And we thought beauty pageant contestants were supposed to help the elderly.
Ex-Miss California Carrie Prejean appeared on Fox News yesterday to admit that her sex tape does indeed exist. “It was the biggest mistake of my life! I was sending my boyfriend at the time, who I loved and cared about, a video of me. I was a teenager at the time and never did I ever think it would come out.” TMZ, who claimed the footage was “too racy” to distribute online, says it was used by the Miss California producers to shut down her lawsuit against them.
In her book, Still Standing—with a forward by her interviewer Sean Hannity—Prejean blames her earlier comfort with nudity on the media. “Unfortunately, pornography has become mainstreamed…the envelope of what seems acceptable seems to get pushed farther and farther as more and more people are exposed to this material. The result is that girls grow up in a culture where it is hard to have an innocent, healthy, normal view of themselves, how they should behave, how they should act, and how they should dress.” Guess it took a slam from Perez Hilton to teach her otherwise.
Watch her interview with Sean Hannity after the jump. Turns out he doesn’t think sexting is that big a deal, as long as it’s between two people in love.
TMZ made jaws drop and tongues wag yesterday by announcing they’d seen a sex tape that allegedly helped wrap up negotiations between the Miss California pageant and its former champion Carrie Prejean, who was asked to pay them back for her boob job. In a surprising bit of prudence, the site declared that the tape was “too racy” to share (“Let’s just say, Carrie has a promising solo career”). Oh, now we’re classy, guys.
While acknowledging that the pageant is paying $100,000 to Prejean’s legal team (allegedly a fraction of the money she owes them), a source for the Chicago Sun-Times says the sex tape allegations have “been wildly exaggerated and [were] not a factor in the final financial settlement.” Between porn peddlers and angry gay rights activists, it’s hard to imagine such a shameful artifact could stay hidden.
The Miss California pageant has demanded Carrie Prejean, the anti-gay activist stripped of her crown earlier this year, return the $5,000+ they spent on her breast augmentation. In one of the cattiest legal documents we’ve ever heard of, officials for the pageant call out their former queen for being a religious hypocrite: “Had [she] heeded the guidance of the Gospel of John, who admonished only those who are without sin to cast stones in judgment, she might have avoided this legal battle.” Snap!
While stopping short of “imma cut this b—-, she’s so full of s—,” the message is loud and clear throughout the Cali cabal’s filings. She says she was unfairly punished for her Christian values, they say she’s a tramp for posing without a top. She says the boob job was “private,” they say it stopped being private once Carrie flaunted her new Prejeans on stage. Can’t wait for the tiaras to fly once these folks finally get their day in court.
Losing the Miss California crown isn’t making Carrie Prejean‘s life any easier. The organization behind the pageant has threatened to sue her if she continues to argue her firing was over the Prop 8 controversy. “If Carrie Prejean wants to assert in public that she was courteous, cooperative or professional in her conduct as Miss California USA, the history of her churlish insolent misbehavior can be presented.” The pageant’s letter, discovered by TMZ, lists 39 pageant appearances she refused to attend.
And those aren’t the only people she flaked out on. Clothing company Sledge USA has dropped Prejean as its fall spokesmodel, saying “she did not keep her appointments at all.” While her loss of title reportedly had nothing to do with their choice, Sledge is replacing Prejean with none other than Tami Farrell, the new Miss California. That’s gotta hurt.
