Meg Ryan Through The Years — Happy 50th Birthday!

Today marks the 50th birthday of Meg Ryan, the original America’s sweetheart and queen of romantic comedies. Meg’s breakout role in When Harry Met Sally skyrocketed her to superstardom, and we all wanted to “have what she’s having.” She then went on to star in some of the best romantic comedies of our time, including Sleepless in Seattle, City of Angels and You’ve Got Mail.

Meg seems to have given up on the rom-coms these days, focusing on more serious roles at the moment. We have to wonder if that has to do with her attempts to reverse the signs of aging with some minor tweaks that led to major results. That’s why we like to think of her as the natural beauty she was, the one we still like to pair with a pint of Ben and Jerry’s.
