From the earliest days in their joint role as Michelle Tanner on Full House, Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen have been starlets with ‘tude. Though rarely seen on screen since their years in the TGIF line-up, the scrunchied, pouty-lipped duo made a killing on Full House syndication and their seemingly-hundreds of videos of capers and sleepovers, and the subsequent soundtracks and books. Remember “I Am The Cute One?”
These days the billionaire twins spend their time as businesswomen with a successful clothing line and while the Olsens often still coordinate outfits for events, gone are the days of clones in denim and hair bows.

Hollywood darling Natalie Portman turns 30 today and TheFABlife’s celebrating the best way we know how — by digging up awkward tween photos and comparing them to shots of the beautiful swan she’s become. Kicking off her successful career at the wee age of 14 in Leon: The Professional, Portman’s been around the movie star block a time or two. We had no problem finding hilarious pics from her earliest days on the red carpet to glowing paparazzi shots of the mama-to-be. Take a peek at the always-gorgeous birthday girl through the years.
It’s the highest compliment we can give Mark Wahlberg that we regularly forget he was once the shirtless dynamo Marky Mark. After two decades of quality film work in movies ranging from The Other Guys to Three Kings to Boogie Nights to The Departed—the last of which earning him an Oscar nomination—”Good Vibrations” is nowhere near the first thing that comes to mind when we think of him today. However, when we do think of “Good Vibrations,” we do remember that the successful actor was once the doofus brother of a New Kid On The Block, rapping about how vibrations are good like Sunkist with his pants around his ankles. And boy, do we laugh.
In honor of Wahlberg’s 40th birthday this Sunday, we’ve put together a a gallery chronicling the man’s twenties…an astounding decade where he managed to go from strutting naked at the Rock’n'Jock B-Ball Jam to winning respect at Cannes. Check out the gallery to see that remarkable evolution, as well as some priceless old school photo ops with other celebs—remember, The Departed wasn’t the first time he worked with Leonardo DiCaprio!

With Mike Myers rarely performing without an elaborate costume, it may not have occurred to you how little the man’s look has changed in the more than twenty years since Wayne’s World first hit SNL. Sure, he’s a little paunchier, but, looking at the year-by-year retrospective in the gallery below, you’ll notice that the decades have been kind to ol’ Mike, with his hair still floppy and his eyebrows still lively. Good thing, considering the high profile work he’s got lined up. Mike will provide voices for three movies this year—Marvin The Martian, The Zookeeper and Bunnicula—and, assuming the notorious perfectionist ever approves the scripts, 2012 and 2013 will respectively bring us a Keith Moon biopic (despite Keith having died at age 32!) and an Austin Powers sequel. Throw in that new wife Kelly Tisdale is pregnant with his first child, and it looks like this ageless wonder has plenty more photo ops ahead.
Follow Mike year-by-year, from 1992 to today, in the gallery below.

April 9th marks Kristen Stewart‘s 21st birthday, and to celebrate we’ve decided to have a little fun with poetry. Yep, we bloggers are also literary dorks! We’re asking you, dear readers, to submit a haiku (or two, or ten) about the lovely KStew. Post your prose in the comments below. The three best haikus – as determined by our editorial team – will be featured in an on-camera dramatic reading. It’s a perfect mix of everything TheFABlife and VH1 stand for: music, celebs and Japanese poetry!
In case you need a refresher, a haiku is a three-line poem consisting of 17 syllables – 5, 7, 5 per line. Let’s check out a couple (terrible) examples, shall we?
My favorite KStew flick
I cry every time.
So many sneakers
The most badass chick around
Keds, Vans and Converse
See? It’s easy, fun and kind of addictive. And there are so many things to haiku about: various movie roles, outfits, interviews, awards, that guy she’s always with. Have fun, and check back here on April 8 to see the winning haikus read by some top secret stars (or maybe just me)!
Lady Gaga turned 25 yesterday, and in true Gaga fashion she celebrated her first quarter-century on stage, in front of thousands of people, covered in fake blood. Gaga’s backup dancers surprised her with a birthday cake (which also looked like it was covered in fake blood) at the end of her show last night. Gaga followed the performance, which was at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, with a night of drinking and tacos at La Cita restaurant where she partied with Adam Lambert, Kate Hudson, and her boyfriend, Luc Carl.

Eva Longoria‘s birthday may be tomorrow, but since that’s just another boring week day, she threw her party on Saturday night. We wouldn’t have known about any of this if Kim Kardashian hadn’t tweeted, “Celebrating the glamorous @EvaLongoria’s bday 1920′s style w @KhloeKardashian @LorenRidinger” along with the twitpic you see above. Eva went full-on with the 1920′s theme as is evident from the picture! Kim had tweeted this photograph with this message, “All glammed up for a fun 1920′s themed party!” a little before, and we have to admit she looks pretty gorgeous. Look after the jump for a picture of Kim with Heidi Klum at the party. Happy birthday Ms. Longoria! Read more…
Happy Birthday, JWoww! The Jersey Shore starlet went all out to bring in her 26th birthday at Vanity in Las Vegas on Friday night. Surprisingly, she was on her own though. No, it wasn’t a party for one obviously — not one guido or guidette from the crew was around. Not even Snooki. What gives? Why no love?
Since it was her birthday, we’re feeling especially forgiving. So we’re totally not going to talk about the toxic tan, the bubblegum lipstick, the eye makeup slapped on with a shovel or that strip of cloth that’s supposed to be a dress. Not saying anything at all! We’re totally not even going the she’s 26 route.
Admit it, you never thought Ashley Greene and Joe Jonas‘ relationship would last. But their chaste hand-holding seems to be standing the test of time, against all better judgement! Although we’re not sure how long we’ll be able to call them “chaste”, considering Joe’s purity ring seems to vanish around Ashley.
Reminding us that she is the older woman in the relationship, Ashley celebrated her 24th birthday on Saturday night at Pure in Vegas. And boyfriend Joe was not only around to support his girlfriend, he scored high in the present department as well. That heavyweight gold bracelet you see dangling off Greene’s wrist is Joe’s gift. And nothing says “I love you” better than Chanel, does it? Even though the JoBro can’t tell the difference, girlfriend sure can. On receiving the Chanel charm bracelet she revealed, “The funny thing about it is when I got it, my boyfriend said it’s vintage Coach — and I was like ‘Thanks so much.’ And then I put it on and was like, ‘Oh my god, this is Chanel’.” Cha-ching!
She added the necessary “it’s awesome” bit, which is so much easier when you’ve got Chanel instead of Coach. Greene continued, “It was very cute and sweet and adorable to me because my boyfriend gave it to me. Coach, Chanel makes no difference to him … I absolutely love it because he knows what I like.” Yeah, thank God he didn’t go the Coach route because that would’ve killed the “happy” in the “birthday”. Ashley’s Candy-Land themed party looks like a blast though, complete with oversized lollipops, a three-tiered cake and one doting JoBro.

This story is so hilarious that we’re going to jump straight into it. Some dude called Paz gate-crashed Paris Hilton‘s 30th birthday party and stole her cake. We kid you not. He’s chronicled his confectionary-criminal spree on his Facebook page, complete with photographs from inside the bash.
The cake itself was apparently worth $2,000 dollars and as Paz describes it, “It’s big. It’s red. It’s says Paris.” His elaborate journal entry starts one day before Paris-gate thanks to a friend’s phone call inviting him to be a fellow crasher. It takes you through Paz and friend “Kevin” strolling down the red carpet, bodypainted nymphs with Tinkerbell wings and an 8-foot tall Iron Man impersonator. There were six open bars on site, which the duo liberally sampled from.
Of the actual cake-hijacking, Paz writes, “… It was at this inebriated moment I decided no one was going to waste $2,000 with of anything on my watch. ‘Hey’, I mumble to Kevin, ‘I have to rescue the cake’.” That’s exactly what superhero Paz did because no one was paying attention or eating the damn thing. After Paris had blown out the candles of course! They’re not mean, guys. They’re socially and financially prudent, clearly.
They swiped it, by dodging the head of security, the waiter and God knows who else, and took their prize home. And in the end, he wrote, “It’s red. It’s delicious. And I don’t know WTF I’m going to do with it.” Erm, pass us a slice? Also, did anyone even notice that it was missing? Happy Birthday, Paris! You can’t make this stuff up.
