We’re going to apologize now if our wagging finger whips up a giant shame tornado in the middle of Brooklyn, but we haven’t been able to lower our index finder or unpurse our lips since we read that Chris Zylka discussed his breakup with Pretty Little Liars‘ Lucy Hale on Twitter…unfavorably. “Don’t have a girlfriend — she decided she was too good,” Zylka fumed to a fan who happened to praised Hale. Yesterday the Secret Circle actor added, “If you all even knew :(” and “Never any disrespect towards anyone. Only if you say what you say you should stick to it. If you say you love then love.” To be fair, Lucy Hale also took to Twitter to slam her ex. Haha, just kidding! Lucy Hale would never do that.
As if that didn’t start our eyes a-rolling, Chris was also apparently cut from American Horror Story: Asylum recently due to his reluctance to shave his head. Boy, don’t you know that’s why they have wigs? Oh, did we mention he had been cast as Daniel, a character referred to as the “most beautiful boy in the world”? Look, everyone acts the fool over breakups sometimes, but to lose the opportunity to act along side Jessica Lange? Have you gone completely mad, Chris? She might not be in the same league as your Piranha 3DD costars Gary Busey and David Hasselhoff, but come on.

We’re sure there’s a sequel to The Bodyguard in here somewhere. Model and former Victoria’s Secret Angel Heidi Klum admitted today on Katie that she is in fact hooking up with her bodyguard Martin Kristen. OK, technically she said that they were “seeing” each other, but potato po-tah-to right? Whatever the case, it’s still very early days for the couple. “I don’t know if I can call it [a relationship],” she told host Katie Couric. “It just started. I don’t know.”
This news is probably is sending shock-waves of rage through her ex-husband Seal. As the divorce between the couple/costume enthusiasts heats up, Seal has been making claims that Heidi cheated on him with this same bodyguard during their marriage. He even told TMZ that he wishes that she’d “waited until we separated before deciding to fornicate with the help.” That’s harsh! He later apologized for the comment, but he’s still obviously not happy with the whole thing. “He’s upset,” a friend of the couple told People. “What really bothers Seal was this guy was a dear friend. They called each other ‘brother.’ He feels betrayed.”
But Heidi denies these accusations, saying that she “never looked at another man” over the course of their seven year marriage. But lately she has been seen out and about with Martin quite a bit, even getting photographed together on vacation in Sardinia, Italy. She opened up about the new man in her life today on Katie. “I trust him with my children’s life,” she said. “He’s a great man and, recently, we just got to know each other from a completely different side.”

The VMAs ended last night with Taylor Swift performing “We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together,” her latest stinging anthem to relationships gone horribly horribly wrong. It’s not news to say that T-Swizzle has gotten some pretty decent mileage (and record sales) from her heartbreak with high profile dudes like John Mayer, Joe Jonas, Taylor Lautner and god knows how many more. It’s gotta be pretty freaky for a guy to get called out in the form of a hit pop track…but then again, it might be kind of cool. Right? Like being part of an irritatingly catchy piece of history. VH1’s very own Kate Spencer was on the VMA red carpet and asked celebs to weigh in on whether or not they’d like to be the subject of a Taylor Swift breakup song!
Drag Race star RuPaul wasn’t too enthused at the idea, saying he’d rather be in “a Taylor Swift make-up song,” and fun. guitarist Jack Antonoff also wasn’t feeling it. “Too stressful. Seems really stressful. I like that song, but I don’t know if I’d want it to be about me.” Dan Reynolds from Las Vegas rockers Imagine Dragons seemed downright terrified at the thought! “I think that that’s every man’s biggest nightmare. Especially now,” he said. “She puts people on blast. She seems like a sweet girl but then she goes hard.”
Sometimes, when the weather gets hot, a bad relationship starts itching at you like a million grains of sand in your bathing suit. At least we’re assuming that’s what happens, seeing as how the summer months have been rife with celeb break-ups this year. From old married like Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes to the most casual of booty calls like Kris Humphries and Myla Sinanaj, at least all these painful break-ups will bear delicious new relationships in the fall. Or a few Twitter meltdowns. Either way, you will survive, celebrity dumpees!
So much for summer lovin’. Katy Perry and John Mayer have already head towards splitsville, after just a couple of months (or is it weeks) of dating each other. What’s that we hear? Oh yeah … a swan song. When Us Weekly picked up on the story of Katy and John getting cozy at Soho House, it was around the last week of July. Which means they had been getting cozy for sometime before that. There’ve been lots of reports and photographs of them walking the road to coupledom after that, but it’s suddenly all come to a crashing halt. And we were just getting used to the idea of them being together. What can we say — life can be unfair. Of their split, a source has told People, “They’ll end up as friends. They were honestly having fun. People made it out to be far more than it was.” But a report in UsMagazine is contradicting this amiable spin. A source is claiming that Katy’s actually taking their breakup not well, at all, saying, “She’s really upset about it,” with another source adding, “She is making it seem like it wasn’t serious with John, but she is hurt.” When the two got together another insider had revealed, “She doesn’t want to get her heart broken again, but she feels a real connection and wants to see where things go.” So what’s the real story here? Was it more serious than met the eye. If so, we’re sending out hugs and various tubs of ice-cream to Katy.

Psst. PSST! Hey. Hey Rob! Your fly’s down. Robert Pattinson has been making the rounds these past few days, going for a full media blitz in the wake of the Category 500 sh-tstorm surrounding his breakup with Twilight co-star Kristen Stewart. On the surface it’s merely to publicize his upcoming Cosmopolis film, but the romantic split is obviously on everyone’s mind. So far he’s hit up The Daily Show, GMA, and last night he attended TimesTalks alongside director David Cronenberg. With so many places to be and so many people to talk to, it’s no surprise that you get kind of fried and little things start to fall through the cracks. Like zipping your pants, for example.
But one thing he did stay zipped up about was the drama with Kristen. New York Times journalist David Carr broached the subject during the live interview, which was also broadcast online. Comparing Robsten to the English royal family, Carr asked “So if you and Kristen have trouble it’s like Charles and Di having trouble?” To be fair, Rob himself had brought up the subject of monarchy, blaming American’s addition to fame on its lack of a royal family. So Carr took the opportunity to swoop in with the K-Stew question, and reaction from the crowd was not kind. According to the Daily News, the room filled with boos and shouts of “Next question!” were heard. Rob seemed caught off guard and gave a lengthy pause before responding “Well, uh, Charles…No, I wouldn’t go that far.”
On the other side of the relationship ring, Kristen is apparently seething over her portrayal in the media. Sources tell TMZ that while the actress obviously feels intense guilt and remorse, she’s furious that Rupert Sanders isn’t facing anywhere near the scrutiny and criticism that she has dealt with in the past few weeks. With rumors of being kicked out of a Snow What And The Huntsman sequel, K-Stew is concerned about her reputation and feels that she’s being punished far to heavily for a mistake. Although she’s taken responsibility for her actions, friends say Kristen is angry that Rupert -who is 19-years older with a wife and children- isn’t being painted as a bigger villain. Friends like Jodie Foster have stepped up to show their support, but Kristen is reportedly (and rightfully) tired of taking the heat for a mistake that was caused by two people.

On the one hand, it’s good to know the tabloids don’t discriminate when it comes to sharing rumors about the woes of same-sex couples. On the other hand, we’re guessing Anderson Cooper would probably have been happy to receive some unequal treatment here. A few days after the publication of photos showing Cooper’s boyfriend of three years, Ben Maisani, kissing another man, the National Enquirer is reporting that the CNN anchor has kicked his cheating bar owner boyfriend out of their home.
“Anderson’s shattered,” a source told the tab. “He felt secure enough with Ben that he took the bold step of coming out as gay this year. He was confident that their relationship was strong. Now he knows that they are finished forever. Anderson’s a strong man, and he’ll put on a brave face, but the truth is he’s absolutely devastated.”
Here’s a rumor that’s sure to spark some serious debate, but we just wanted to pass it along. Robert Pattinson is reportedly considering a romantic reconciliation with Kristen Stewart. Rumors are surfacing that he is over his anger and seriously considering reuniting with his Twilight co-star and (ex?) girlfriend after she was caught cheating on him with Snow White and the Huntsman director Rupert Sanders.
“Rob was super angry for the first couple of weeks. Angry at Kristen for ruining what they had, angry at her for the public embarrassment, angry at Rupert,” a friend of Rob’s told Radar Online. “But he’s starting to wind down and really think about what he’s going to do regarding his relationship with Kristen. He goes back and forth.” As usual in times of heartbreak, RPattz has been going to his friends for solace and support. Water for Elephants co-star Reese Witherspoon has let him stay in her Ojai vacation home to plan his next move/listen to “Everybody Hurts” on repeat.
Yet despite all of their help, his friends might be confusing him further by giving him contradicting advice about what to do regarding Kristen. “There’s definitely some friends who think he should just move on from Kristen,” the source continued. “But then there are others who still think Rob and Kristen really have a special connection and want him to give her another chance. He has a lot to think about and hasn’t decided either way right now.” A complicated situation indeed, and that’s without all of the stuff we don’t know about what their relationship was like in private. What do you think he should do? Let us know in the poll below. And hang in there, Rob!

We totally get why Liberty Ross, the fourth party in the whole horrible Rupert Sanders-Kristen Stewart affair, is sending mixed messages about her relationship status with her director husband. The actress/model been walking around L.A. without her wedding ring, indicating she is none to happy with Rupert’s dalliances. But on Tuesday, they both were photographed outside an office building where they purportedly were getting couples therapy. And then yesterday, Liberty was snapped outside a different office building that is the workplace of several divorce lawyers. TMZ has sources that say she wasn’t there to plan a permanent split, however. Rather, she wants to reconcile with the father of her two young children.
So, somehow, a lawyer is going to help assure her that Sanders won’t cheat again? We’re very unsure of how that legal process works. Then again, it could be all about striking fear and remorse into his unfaithful heart. This woman, a successful model and fashion icon across the pond, moved to L.A. to support her husband’s fledgling career. At the very least, she deserves to get in writing that he’s not going anywhere near the Snow White and the Huntsman sequel.

There are some new badass Cosmopolis photos that dropped today. The movie premieres next week. Rob Pattinson is set to visit the Daily Show next Monday, and Good Morning America next Wednesday to promote the film. Everything seems to be primed for Rob to enjoy a hassle-free publicity tour…except you know someone is going to ask him about KStew on TV. It’s inevitable. We’re guessing Jon Stewart might tease him about it without actually asking any questions, but there is no way on God’s green Earth he will be able to leave the GMA studio without discussing his relationship with Kristen Stewart and/or his rage toward Rupert Sanders. Pattinson’s rep already made it clear RPattz isn’t going to miss any promo appearances over something like a devastating breakup, so what are his options here? As far as we can see, his choices basically break down to:
