Did Miley Cyrus Cut Her Hair For Two And A Half Men?

In short-hair-girl solidarity, I have to say I rather love Miley Cyrus’ new hairdo. The spunky blond pixie cut gives her a Robyn-like edge to match her attitude. But now that we know Miley is set to appear in several episodes of Two and a Half Men, we wonder if she cut it specifically for the role. She’s set to play a possible love interest for the titular “Half” man, Jake (Angus T. Jones), who we’re shocked to hear (sorry, we don’t watch) is already a teenager on the show. Jones is 18, just a year younger than Miley.

So now we’re wondering, did Miley find out last week, like we did, just how much Ashton Kutcher and Jon Cryer make on this show? And then was she reminded how Ashton shed his beard and long hair halfway through the season for his character’s storyline? After watching her movie LOL waste away in no-man’s land this summer, we can just imagine the Hannah Montana star thinking she needed some kind of way to remind the world that she’s more than just a frequently tweeting, naked-picture leaking, fiancee of a Hunger Games star. Not that we ever forgot, mind you. But Hollywood has long-term memory trouble.

Whatever the reason, we’re excited to see Miley show off her funny side again. And yes, we really love the hair.

Miley Cyrus Doesn’t Really Care Whether Or Not You Like Her New Short-Short Hairdo!

Love it or hate it, you can’t ignore it. And you most certainly cannot ignore her. We mean Ms. — soon to be Mrs. to the very deelish Liam Hemsworth — Miley Cyrus. Who would have thought that one little haircut would cause such a furor. To be honest though, it isn’t a little haircut, is it. It’s quite a jaw-dropping change! It all started with a photograph Miley tweeted, of a pair of scissors on standby, threatening to chop off her bun. Was that supposed to be a joke? Clearly not, from the ultra-short pictures you see above. “It’s happening” Miley tweeted, followed by another more hardcore tweet that read, “if you don’t have something nice to say don’t say anything at all. my hair is attached to my head no one else’s and it’s going bye bye.” A retweet of celebrity hairstylist Chris McMillan‘s photographs illustrated the bun-and-scissors more successfully, as seen below.

Miley Cyrus Morphs Into A Blond, Skateboarding L.A. Gurl

It’s been a week for young superstars to shake things up. First Taylor Swift went dark for CoverGirl, and now Miley Cyrus has gone blond for … Miley. Really blond, as you can see in the photographs above! The singer let us in on her new look over Twitter when she pinged a message that read, “Now that I’m blond I gotta give duck lips in every photo” complete with a heart sign, late last week. A friend also instagram’d a photograph of her — the one on the right — close-up with the caption, “Blonds have more fun.” We have to admit we really like Miley blond! It’s so working on her, and somehow just makes sense, if you know what we mean? You know how people change their look up and it takes you a while to let it sink in and get used to it? This feels natural for her, and not jarring at all!

She also had a pretty chilled, laid-back weekend with fiance, Liam Hemsworth. The couple were spotted skateboarding around L.A. together, with Miley fitting the part in black high-waisted short-shorts, a white tank and red bikini top underneath. We actually think these two are adorable, and while it may have taken us a while to “get” them, we’ve now come to the conclusion that they’re perfectly matched. New Look Alert: Taylor Swift Goes Dark For CoverGirl

Taylor Swift has been fabulous in her CoverGirl endorsements so far. But her latest campaign has truly blown us away. JustJared has posted some new photographs of Taylor seriously rocking out with dark hair, as you can see above in the pictures. Yes, it’s slightly darker, but it makes a world of a difference! The new campaign is exploring four different looks, namely, Clean, Rocker, Glam and Country — T.Swift has a lot to play with, and we’re wolf whistling at her in the picture on the right. Way to work that corset, Tay!

There’s also a behind-the-scenes video that has the singer explaining, “I think in life we have a bunch of different versions of ourselves and that goes with our personality and how we act around a friend, that’s how we act in a job interview…it’s all very different how we act. I think it’s all equally different the way we choose to dress, the way we choose our makeup. The cool thing about makeup is that it can be so different on any given day.” We agree! Lindsay Lohan’s A Red Again — Hallelujah?

What is it about us and Lindsay Lohan being a redhead? We feel that’s the only color she should rock. The picture she tweeted of her re-transformation into a ginger less than a day ago, is possibly, a little too light for our liking, but that may just be an instagram effect. Her message simply read, “Red again.” Which gave us a certain sense of deja vu. Like, we had written about this exact same topic recently? Turns out we did, when Lindsay went red back in March this year! Now, that was a gorgeous shade. In this current picture, seen on the right, we’re also a little concerned that Li.Lo may still be down with the dark caterpillar eyebrows. Again, we’re really hoping this a trick of the light. It’s been a happy week for the actress. She just wrapped up filming Liz & Dick — which explains the color change — and it was also Lindz’s 26th birthday a couple of days ago. She combined her enthusiasm for both occasions in a tweet yesterday, that said, “Thank you all for the birthday wishes! Also- that’s a wrap on “Liz & dick”- thank you to all my fans, crew members, friends & lifetime!” So, Lindsay is working, has films lined up and is a redhead. All seems right with her universe, for now. Let’s hope it stays that way!

Lindsay Lohan’s Hairvolution: 50 Shades Of LiLo On Her 26th Birthday

Our girl Lindsay Lohan has definitely gotten into her fair share of trouble, even when she’s supposed to be on the road to rehabbing her reputation. From car accidents and indecent exposure to being too diva-licious and some sad Terry Richardson photos, she’s given us plenty of reasons to be worried for her. But then we close our eyes, take a deep breath, and go to our happy place: The Parent Trap! (Cue butler/Lohan secret handshake.)

So, for our lovely LiLo’s 26th birthday, all things bad are forgotten. We decided instead to celebrate one trait that Lindsay hasn’t yet managed to sabotage beyond repair: her hair. Here we take you for a tour through the shades: from brilliant red to platinum blond to jet black and back, Lindsay is always keeping it fresh on and off set. So turn up “Here Comes the Sun,” kick back, and enjoy our LiLo montage!

Battle Of The Bouffants: Heidi Klum’s Volume Vs. Lana Del Rey’s Height

There wasn’t some sort of weird time blip over the weekend, right? Because some seriously retro hairstyles were seen on the likes of fashionistas such as Heidi Klum and Lana Del Rey. Heidi’s hair was teased out into voluminous flicks, as you can see on the left, while she was filming a commercial for Schwarzkopf Taft hairspray in New York. How apt right? The storyline’s pretty hilarious as her very big hair gets caught in the revolving door she’s walking out of. Heidi looked pretty amazo in her navy trench and cobalt blue heels too, but we can’t get over her very luscious ’70′s mane. Giving her serious competition in that department, was Lana, who was spotted in London with what can only be described as a towering bouffant. She performed at the Isle of Wight festival over the weekend, but stopped off in the city for some work commitments including filming at BBC One Studio’s. This look was seen as she was leaving her hotel to canter around the city and perform at the Radio One Big Weekend festival. Lana is the face of H&M now, according to sources at the New York Post, FYI. We’re guessing the campaigns will have a vintage touch because that’s just how the singer rolls. But in terms of big hair, we have to ask — who’s working it more? Heidi’s volume or Lana’s height?

We’re all getting used to the fact that where Jennifer Lopez is, boyfriend Casper Smart will be too. Which is good, because toy-boy rumors aside, they seem happy. And you know what? Casper should be lucky to have a hottie like J.Lo as a girlfriend. It doesn’t matter that she’s almost two decades older than him — La Lopez is hotter than most 20-year-olds. Having said that, this new haircut of hers is functioning like time travel. It’s so youthful and fun! Jenny’s in Santiago, Chile, right now, where she performed last night as a part of her tour. She was seen getting some downtime with Casper and her twins Max and Emme, working hair that was a couple of inches shorter than her regular ‘do, and far curlier. We love! Also, that jacket she’s wearing that you probably covet? It’s the Moto jacket from her own Jennifer Lopez for Kohl’s collection. We have babies on the brain, considering we just wrote about Molly Sims giving birth to a baby boy. We just got a closer look at January Jones‘ baby boy, Xander, for the first time, and pretty much melted. We admit, this is the first real look we’ve had at him because J.J. makes sure to obscure his face in some way. And we now understand why. Because that face is so damn cute, it should be a crime! These shots were taken just as January exited a doctor’s office in Santa Monica yesterday.

Apart from the bundle of baby joy that is Xander, we’re also tripping about his mom’s new hair! Bye-bye icy blond, hello hot redhead? Or best of both worlds, because January has gone strawberry blond. Perhaps she took her cues from castmate and now-fellow redhead, Christina Hendricks? She also appears to have gotten extensions because her hair is considerably longer than what length it was just a week ago. Is this for a movie role, or just because she needed to shake things up? Charlize Theron Shaves Off All Her Hair For Mad Max Role

This woman is incredibly unfair. Hi, Charlize Theron, we mean you. But don’t get mad at us for saying that because we kinda love you. A lot. Let’s be friends. Imaginary dialogues with Char.T aside, lookie what we have here. A shaved head, under a becoming little hat. Just like that, her hair is gone? It’s so sudden! And the fact that we didn’t get to say goodbye makes us feel a tad … snippy. Yes, indeed. We busted that one out. Because honestly, we’re not mad about that perfect blondness going away at all, because, damn, she looks incredible without hair as well! She’s photographed here, leaving a doctor’s office in Beverly Hills, California with her adorable son, Jackson.

The actress’ spokesperson has also confirmed that the chop job is for her role as Furiosa in Mad Max 4: Fury Road, with Tom Hardy. Of that role, Charlize has said, ”The original Mad Max created such a vivid world, so to go back and re-imagine it and re-play in that sandbox sounds like fun to me. Its a really challenging piece of material. With everything from Young Adult to Prometheus, I feel very creatively satisfied, especially going in to Mad Max.
