This woman is incredibly unfair. Hi, Charlize Theron, we mean you. But don’t get mad at us for saying that because we kinda love you. A lot. Let’s be friends. Imaginary dialogues with Char.T aside, lookie what we have here. A shaved head, under a becoming little hat. Just like that, her hair is gone? It’s so sudden! And the fact that we didn’t get to say goodbye makes us feel a tad … snippy. Yes, indeed. We busted that one out. Because honestly, we’re not mad about that perfect blondness going away at all, because, damn, she looks incredible without hair as well! She’s photographed here, leaving a doctor’s office in Beverly Hills, California with her adorable son, Jackson.
The actress’ spokesperson has also confirmed that the chop job is for her role as Furiosa in Mad Max 4: Fury Road, with Tom Hardy. Of that role, Charlize has said, “The original Mad Max created such a vivid world, so to go back and re-imagine it and re-play in that sandbox sounds like fun to me. Its a really challenging piece of material. With everything from Young Adult to Prometheus, I feel very creatively satisfied, especially going in to Mad Max. I feel very lucky.” Can’t wait to see her with Tom Hardy! More importantly, what do you think about Charlize’s new look? Are you a fan?

Nothing like a little hair experimentation to completely change your look. Three super famous ladies decided to shake things up in that department this week. First up we have the awesome Kelly Clarkson who was spotted running around London yesterday with a freshly blond ‘do with bangs, that you can see in the picture above and on the right. Do we like it on her? Yes, we do! The length of the haircut is great too and really suits her. On the left, we have Jewel who tweeted a photograph of her transformation into June Carter, who she is going to portray in a Lifetime biopic called The June Carter Cash Story. The film is going to be based on John Carter Cash‘s memoir “Anchored in Love: An Intimate Portrait of June Carter Cash.” The singer’s message read, “Here I am as June in my trailer with her blue eyes and perfect teeth …” You have to admit she looks totally different and we’re hoping she sticks around as a brunette for a while.
While Kelly and Jewel’s color changes really shakes things up for them, they’re still kind of standard shades. Nicole Richie‘s new dye job is far more punk! She posted the image you can see above on the left, on her website, with a simple message that read, “Tickled Pink!” So different especially when compared to her regular honey-blond (on the right.) But if anyone can pull it off, it’s Nicole! We’re wondering is she’s going to keep the pink tips or try out something new again.

How did our list of 50 Rihanna Hairstyles get out of date so fast? We just can’t keep up with her stylists! After sporting bleached blond locks for most of the spring, Rihanna last switched up her hairstyle with a half-shaved head two months ago, a period of time that translates into 5,000 years for regular people hairdos. Not immediately adding Rihanna’s brand new dreads, which the singer posted to Instagram today, is a disservice to everyone as obsessed with her ever-mutating hotness as we are, and for that we apologize. But also? You’re welcome for keeping you abreast of all late-breaking RiRi beauty updates.
“Wake bake shake dem dreads,” RiRi tweeted along with the photo. That doesn’t sound like the best way to get her vocal chords in order to perform at the American Idol finale tonight, but if anyone knows how much sleeping, baking and shaking her larynx can tolerate, it’s RiRi. The “Where Have You Been All My Life?” singer will be singing alongside Aerosmith, Gladys Knight and (you might be able to hear us screaming later) Reba McEntire. Ohhh, obviously RiRi switched up her hair because she wanted a fresh hotness to show Reba. We completely understand. We would have done the exact same thing, given the opportunity.
Throughout her career Jill Scott has rocked as many hairstyles as she has shows. Like her vibrant personality, her hair choices are fun, edgy and unique. In preparation for tonight’s season premiere of VH1 Storytellers featuring Jill Scott, we chatted with celebrity hairstylist Ursula Stephen about the styles she loves most on Jill. If the name Ursula Stephen rings a bell it’s probably because she is the woman solely responsible for Rihanna’s 2008 haircut that turned her into a style icon. She’s also the same stylist on whom Rihanna spent $24,000 to fly out to London to fix a hair emergency this March. Yes, guys, a woman’s hair is that big of a deal. Stephen says she admires Jill for her beauty and confidence. “She shows the girls how to be beautiful with natural hair,” said Stephen. “She’s definitely one of the natural hair icons.”
Gosh, 2001 seems like eons ago, but it was around this time Scott took the music industry by storm due to her first album Who Is Jill Scott? Words and Sounds Vol. 1. At the 2001 Billboard Music Awards, Jill wore a head of full ‘locks in the shape of a crown. Sorry, folks. This isn’t a do it yourself style. Stephen said the best way to achieve this look is through a professional braider.
At the Grammy Jam Fest in 2004, Jill confidently sported an afro with a little variation by changing the shape. To achieve this look, Stephen said Motions Hydrate My Curls adds moisture and defines curls. “The best way to make sure your afro is even is by using an afro pic,” Stephen said. Read more…
We’re starting to think Robert Pattinson receives more new hairstyles than he does new movie roles. The Twilight heartthrob revealed his newest ‘do, a buzz cut, at the People’s Choice Awards in February and has been sporting a clean-cut look ever since. From spiked mop to scruffy beard, RPattz has sported many different cuts and manages to maintain that sexy demeanor with every style. Some of Rob’s best ‘dos came from movie roles like his plot-driving locks in Cosmpolis and his unruly sideburns in Bel Ami. We know co-star Kristen Stewart loved rubbing her hands through those brunette tresses in Breaking Dawn, Part 1. To celebrate Rob’s 26th birthday, we’re taking a look at Rob’s hair-volution: from grunge to clean cut.

Maria Sharapova — bonafide hottie and tennis star — caused a bit of a stir on the interwebz yesterday. She posted two images (which you can see above) on her Facebook page, which each had one very important detail missing. Her long blond hair! Both photographs had Maria showing off a super-short, pixie cut and both had the same caption: “So what do you guys think?? I kind of love it!” Do we love it? Or is it too much, too soon? Click after the jump to hear more of the story. Read more…
This very famous celebrity clearly had enough of the paparazzi last night. She was heading out of Giorgio Baldi’s in L.A. and got mobbed. It’s appropriate because she’s quite mob-worthy, especially in that dress. But who is the “she” in question? Make some guesses and click after the jump. Read more…
Talk about your dramatic changes. We were really shocked to see Anne Hathaway in London with a short, buzzed hairdo. The haircut is for her role as “Fantine” in Les Miserables. Her co-star, Hugh Jackman, has also chopped off his hair to play the role of “Jean Valjean” so she’s in good company. Anne showed off the drastic look last night outside ‘The Box” which is a nightclub in Soho, London. Ms. Hathaway didn’t let something like androgynous chop-job get in the way of partying hard, because these photographs were taken around three in the morning. Way to go, Anne!
To be very honest, we’re forcing ourselves to be chirpy here. We’re seriously trying to figure out why this new, buzzed look on Anne affects us so? She’s not particularly our favorite actress. We don’t go running to the theatre to see her films. But we do keep up with her sartorial choices, so if she slips on a Valentino gown somewhere, we’re on it. Perhaps that’s what it is? Now tell us what you’re thinking! She does sort-of pull off the hair, doesn’t she?

Rihanna doesn’t stick with one look for very long! Just a few weeks after dying her brunette tresses blond, the Barbadian beauty went back to black, with a punky side-buzz twist! She unveiled her new look on Twitter over the weekend, where she posted a photo montage with the caption/explanation “Cuz I’m black, bitch.” #UnnecessarilyAgressiveTweet?
Riri has proved to be quite the chameleon since she burst onto the scene. In fact, it seems like the only look she does stick with is “pantsless.” The singer changes her ‘do more often that most of us change our socks. Check out the gallery below for a look at 50 (yes 50!) hair styles Rihanna has rocked over the years!
Hallelujah! Look! It’s Lindsay Lohan looking like the sweet, adorable girl she was circa Mean Girls. We know it’s a bit of an oxymoron putting “Mean Girls” and “sweet, adorable” in one sentence, but you know exactly what we’re talking about. That was the time that Lindsay looked happy and healthy and it was a wonderful time, loong before she started on her downward spiral. We’re just so happy to see her as a redhead again! But what we’d like to know is what ushered in this change? Please don’t let it be because Lindsay found out that Terry Richardson preferred redheads to blonds. Because that would make us barf even more than when we heard about the rumor that Li.Lo wanted her some Terry.
Maybe our story about Lindsay morphing into Debbie Harry, or vice versa, hit a nerve? That had to have been rough especially after all the comparisons with her mother, Dina Lohan. OK, the truth is, we’re just being modest. She obviously read our story where we pretty much begged Lindsay to bring her old hair back. Now all we need to do is sort those lips out. Then we’ll get to the dignity. It’s all about the baby steps, guys.
