David Blaine is famous for enduring harsh physical conditions and calling it magic. Unfortunately, even though he can manage being trapped underwater for days at a time, he’s not immune to acts of God and dealing with them the way the rest of us non-illusionists would. So when his pregnant fianceé Alizee Guinochet went into labor during one of New York City’s recent blizzards, he did what any spazzing dad-to-be would do — he hitched a ride to the hospital on a snow plow.
Blaine was unable to catch a cab during the storm that fell on the city January 19th, so he and Guinochet got a ride to the hospital by flagging down the only vehicle they could find on the road, a plow. Guess he couldn’t work his street magic to clear the actual streets. Guinochet gave birth to a health baby girl at the hospital soon after and they’re both doing fine. The baby’s name has not been revealed yet. They’re probably still mulling over the perfect plow-related moniker.
