Rihanna and Chris Brown are by no means an official couple yet, but there are apparently a lot of people who would be happy to see it happen. Among these folks are Oprah Winfrey and Rihanna’s own father! Riri’s pop Ronald Fenty recently spoke to In Touch magazine about the man convicted for assaulting his daughter in 2009. And he you know what? Ron thinks he’s a standup guy! “I love Chris, man. He’s got so much charisma. And he’s always had so much respect for me. That’s what I love about him. He’s always shown me respect.”

Ronald, a recovering drug addict who physically abused Rihanna’s mother in the past, has forgiven Brown for what he did, and urges the world to the same. “I think everyone makes mistakes and they shouldn’t be held to them forever. Everyone should be forgiven once. There’s a lot more to Chris than the whole world knows.” That may sound like a surprising move for a parent, but bear in mind that this is also the dude who called Rihanna fat. Read that back to yourself. Rihanna. Named Esquire’s Sexiest Woman Alive last year. Fat. We’re not confrontational people, but we may have a problem with Mr. Fenty and his opinions. But it’s hard to argue with his last statement on the matter, we guess. “I know they love each other. They always have. She’s happiest when she’s around him, and as long as she’s happy, I am happy and the whole world should be too.”

Weird Robsten Rumor Of The Day: Kristen Stewart’s Mom Got Them Back Together

We’ve heard about staying together for the kids, but staying together for the parents just sounds weird. But that’s what’s happening with Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart, at least if these reports in RadarOnline are to be believed. According to this story, Kristen’s mother Jules Stewart was even more bummed than the rest of us Twihards when it was revealed that her daughter had an affair with her Snow White And The Huntsman director Rupert Sanders. “It ripped her heart in two when she saw those pictures of Kristen in a compromising situation with Rupert,” an inside source claims. “And she couldn’t believe what her daughter had done.”

The fling spelled the end of Robsten for a time, but the two are rumored to be drifting closer, even going so far as moving back in together. According to the insider, Mrs. Stewart has strongly supported her daughter’s attempts at reconciliation, and is even having words with Rob one-on-one. She apparently had a very close relationship with Rob, and thinks of him like a son. “She has been speaking with Robert, reiterating Kristen’s pleas for another chance and is trying to help build up trust between the pair. It is early days, but if this reconciliation can bring Robert and Kristen back together, they’ll have Jules to thank.” The friend goes on to describe K-Stew’s mom as the “glue” that’s keeping them together. We’ve heard about hands on parenting, but this seems a tad bit extreme.

Kat Von D Is Now Dating … Deadmau5?

Woah, we did not see this one coming. We should have, when Deadmau5 posted an entire album on his Facebook page with Kat von D and his cat Meowingtons, (see one of the pictures on the above right), called “a day with the kats” with a big ol’ smiley face attached to it. We thought it was because they were just friends and tattoo aficionados. But then the photograph that you see on the left popped up too, of the two of them walking around West Hollywood yesterday, holding hands. And then a couple of tweets set us completely straight. Deadmau5 — real name Joel Zimmerman — tweeted a gushy, “Yeah, im love… inb4 I find a f— to give over the Internet implodes over it at least I’m happy! Lol.” He followed it by this tweet attached to the photo you see below, “<3 (and no… thats meowingtons on the left… not a hot air balloon.)”

Our spidey sense tells us that these two are going to do quite well together — they seem perfectly matched with their hip, tattooed attitudes. More so, and this is the big one — they look happy. Lord knows Kat needs someone who is not Jesse James! Good luck, you two crazy kids!

Don’t you love it when two super attractive people find each other amidst all the other attractive people in Hollywood? Funny how that happens, huh. Well, this new relationship is a smorgasbord of attractive, in all seriousness. The latest couple to emerge out of the ether are Eva Longoria and Mark Sanchez. And it’s not a rumor either, because Ms. Longoria herself confirmed the relationship on television. How’s that for laying it down. Eva was interviewed by her good friend Mario Lopez on Extra a day ago and looks like their friendship allowed him to push for answers in a way most interviewers wouldn’t get away with. He straight up asked her whether or not she was with Sanchez and the petite Longoria had no choice but to ‘fess up. “You’re an a—” Longoria laughed, adding, “No, Mark and I are, you know, fine. We’re happy just dating.” She’s had her ups and downs romantically over the last few years, first splitting up with her husband, Tony Parker, and then breaking up with Penelope Cruz‘s brother, Eduardo Cruz two and a half months ago, after dating for a year and a half. Mark’s been linked with Hayden Panettiere and Jamie-Lynn Sigler in the past. And now the New York Jets quaterback has a new actress love, and we like her a whole lot. Treat her well, dude!

Russell Brand and Geri Halliwell Rumored To Be Dating, Join Our List Of 20 WTF Celebrity Couples

Russell Brand sure does like the pop stars! Less than a year after his split with teenage dream Katy Perry, the comedian was photographed leaving the home of Spice Girl Geri Halliwell. It’s been rumored that the two have started a romance after getting reacquainted at the Olympic closing ceremony earlier this month. “Geri has said they have a spiritual connection through yoga and they practise asana together,” a friend told Britain’s Sun paper. “‘Russell is known for action between the sheets but he is actually very good at just sitting still in silence. It is something that has acted as a bond for he and Geri as their relationship blossoms.”

Considering how bummed out he looked upon leaving her house last night, we hope things are still going ok! “They’re just friends and have been out a few times, there’s not much else to add at this stage,” another friend told the Daily Mail. Regardless of the length of their relationship, this hookup will definitely be a great addition to our “WTF, They Dated?!” list of really random celebrity couples. What happens when you put a bunch of exquisitely toned individuals — all amped up and stressed out for the most anticipated day of their lives — and put them in a small space for two weeks? The answer is: a lot of sex. How much is “a lot,” you ask? Well according to E! News, Olympic officials put in an order for 100,000 condoms to be made available to athletes in the Olympic Village. Considering there are an estimated 10,000 international sports stars gathered for the 16-day event, that’s a pretty (in)decent amount of sex.

“There’s a lot of sex going on,” U.S. Women’s Soccer goalie Hope Solo confirmed to ESPN. “With a once-in-a-lifetime experience, you want to build memories, whether it’s sexual, partying or on the field. I’ve seen people having sex right out in the open. On the grass, between buildings, people are getting down and dirty.” Hopefully, no judges were present.

But surely that’s just a few free spirits, right? “I’d say it’s 70 percent to 75 percent of Olympians” says U.S. swimmer Ryan Lochte. And he’d know: it’s rumored that he’s doing the doggie paddle with fellow swimmer Blair Evans of Australia. We’re not sure what will happen to their flame once the Olympic flame goes out, but it’s a proven fact that the Games are a fantastic place to meet a partner. Don’t believe us? Kanye West’s relationship with Kim Kardashian has been like watching the scene in Back To The Future III when the runaway train speeds towards the edge of the cliff. The cliff obviously represents marriage in this botched metaphor, and now it looks like someone just hit fast forward. Although the two have brought up the topic marriage just a month after taking their relationship public, that just seemed like an abstract discussion. Now they really might do it for real.

According to a report from RadarOnline, Yeezy is busy designing an engagement ring for his beloved Kim, and prepping to pop the question just as soon as her divorce from Kris Humphries becomes final. The sweet part is that he’s apparently using stones from his late mother Donda’s collection. “Kanye picked out some of Donda’s most expensive pieces, including some diamond earrings and a ruby ring,” a friend of Kanye’s told Radar. “Donda was such an important person in Kanye’s life, he thought the world of her and was devastated when she died…Now Kanye has found a woman he respects and loves just as much as his mom, so he wants to share her jewelry collection with Kim.”

Kim Kardashian and Kanye West took their PDAs abroad this week, as the two love birds were spotted holding hands while strolling the streets of Paris. Kim showed off her famous curves in a super tight strapless dress, while Yeezy opted for the more casual approach with sweatshirt and sneakers. They then hit up the swank L’Avenue restaurant to sample some of the local cuisine. The finicky Kim apparently wasn’t feeling the French fare, tweeting a picture of escargot with the question “To eat or not to eat?” We can’t say we blame her.

After pondering their plates of snails, the pair took off Kanye’s sleek new $380,000 Lamborghini Gallarado. The exquisite whip was Kim’s birthday present to her boyfriend on his 35th birthday on June 8th. We’re guessing cupcakes just aren’t their thing. For those of you keeping score at home, their relationship has been going on just about as long as Kim’s marriage to Kris Humphries, but things definitely seem to be going much better than that doomed affair. On her interview with Oprah, Kim cited Kanye’s age as a factor in their connection. “I always dated five years younger,” she explained. “My whole thing was completely different, and now I just love that I’m with someone that’s a couple years older than me.” She’s considering a serious future with the rap star, including kids. “I want babies. I want my forever, and I want my fairytale,” she continued. Hang on, didn’t she already have her fairytale?

Although they’ve only been public for less than two months, kontroversial kouple Kim Kardashian and Kanye West are apparently preparing to move in together. According to a report on TMZ, both Kim and Yeezy have secretly listed their respective homes for sale with a “pocket listing,” which doesn’t show up in official real estate paperwork. Sneaky! Unnamed sources claim that the pair are now searching for a rental home to share. This probably shouldn’t come as a huge surprise considering that the two have allegedly been talking about marriage. Everyone who’s kinda bummed that Kim wasted all that camera coverage on Kris Humphries, raise your hand. We thought so. Come on Kardashians, watching Kim and Kanye go house-hunting would be the greatest reality show OF ALL TIME!

Mary-Kate Olsen Has Bagged Herself A Sarkozy, But Not The One You’re Thinking Of!

It’s not that Sarkozy, guys. Not Nicolas Sarkozy the outgoing French president and Carla Bruni‘s hubby. Mary-Kate Olsen has snagged for herself his half-brother, businessman Olivier Sarkozy. A source reveals, “It’s true, they’re dating, and she’s definitely interested in him. MK is constantly complaining about boys not being mature enough for her. She got the kids out of her system. Now being a businesswoman dominates her time, and she is rarely impressed with guys.” She definitely has the kids out of her system — Sarkozy is 42 and Mary-Kate’s 25. That’s a 17-year age difference. But we guess that’s what a businesswoman wants these days. We don’t mean to sound snarky, but “sources” can be so condescending sometimes! Just to drill the point even further, a second source also chimed in with, “They are good for each other.”

The eternal romantic in us thinks, good for them. There’s nothing like dating a Frenchman to keep things fresh. The new couple have reportedly been together for a month, and have already been spotted at a Knicks game and at the Hamptons over the Memorial Day long weekend. Excellent, lovers. More power to you. Now, if only Olivier would get Mary-Kate to stop wearing burlap sacks and throw some color in. You’ve got a new man, MK … lighten up!
