Alyssa Milano has always been the perfect woman – the pretty girl next door who’s totally into sports and her family. We admit to taking a page from Samantha Micelli and ripping our jeans on purpose to emulate her cool “Who’s The Boss?” look. She’s sort of a real life version of Mary in There’s Something About Mary, minus the franks and beans. So, for the sake of anyone harboring a crush, we’re sorry to say that as of this weekend, she’s officially off the market. Milano married her boyfriend of three years, Hollywood agent David Bugliari, in New Jersey on Saturday.
While Milano wore a Vera Wang gown and had a custom-made engagement ring, the ceremony itself was rustic (and put together by celeb event planner Colin Cowie). The reception was family style, with everyone seated at farmhouse tables under a tent. Milano told People, “My Italian family still eats Sunday dinner together every week. We wanted to capture the same feeling with people passing around beautiful bowls of food and talking and laughing.”
Sounds to us like the perfect way to start things off. [Photo: GettyImages]
It only took him eight years and three kids, but Mark Wahlberg has finally put a ring on it. The Hollywood actor married longtime girlfriend Rhea Durham at the Good Shepherd church in Beverly Hills on Saturday. The Catholic ceremony was attended by their family and children — Ella Rae, baby Brendan Joseph and cute three-year-old Michael, pictured below. The couple has been together since 2001, and Rhea looked stunning on her special day. Congratulations! [Photos: Splash News Online]
American Idol judge Kara DioGuardi, she of the enthusiastic waving and “Studio 57″ references, was married this past weekend in Prospect, Maine. DioGuardi and husband Mike McCuddy, got engaged in December 2008 in Mexico. McCuddy is originally from Maine and DioGuardi told People it was the only place she considered for her wedding “It’s so natural, so beautiful, so calm, so accepting. If all this went bad, I’d be on the next plane to Maine. You wouldn’t see me for a few years!” Only about 30 guests witnessed the ceremony which was held on Sunday.
Despite the serene, low-key setting, DioGuardi still managed to get a little flashy, wearing a Vera Wang dress and $250,000 worth of Neil Lane diamonds.ÂÂ
A lot of guys probably would love to get married at the Playboy Mansion to an actual Playmate. For NFL player Hank Baskett, the dream became a reality this weekend when he wed former Girl Next Door Kendra Wilkinson. Over 300 guests, including Kendra’s ex-grandfather Hugh Hefner attended. Friend and ex-grandfather-sharer Holly Madison said of the bride “It was a princess dress, which was fitting. It was really pretty and she looked gorgeous.” Hefner added, “I could not be more delighted, this is one of the happiest days in one of the happiest places on Earth,” and Hef even got to share the second dance with the bride.
The newlyweds have been living on camera for the E! show Kendra, which premiered earlier this year after the girls next door found new homes and younger men. They are expecting a baby in December. [NYDN. Photo: Splash News Online]
Jesus Luz’s father has spoken out to confirm Internet gossip that his son is going to “marry” cougar girlfriend Madonna in a Kabbalah commitment ceremony. Speaking to a Brazilian magazine, Luiz Heitor Pinto da Luz blasts claims that she’s paying for English lessons for him, but surprisingly confirms that they’re living together and things are getting serious.
“He is very happy and this ceremony would just confirm that. My understanding is that this is just a consequence of what is happening. He is already living with her. I don’t know if there will be an actual wedding. From what I have read there could be a sort of ritual, but I don’t know Kabbalah … to know if it’s valid and legal,” he said.
Far be it from us to suggest this may be a little, um, rushed. Instead, we’ll just smile and make out that we think this is a really Good Idea! Mid-life crisis — what mid-life crisis? [Photo: Getty Images]
Heidi Klum and Seal looked to an unexpected source for the theme of their annual wedding renewal vows this weekend. The so-in-love-it’s-sickening couple got dressed up as “white trash” for the party in Malibu, with Heidi rocking some delightful cornrows and Seal sporting a mullet complete with frosted highlights. Guests like Debra Messing wore matching pink bandanas, and earlier in the day, pregnant Heidi (who’s expecting another girl) was spotted flashing her belly for photogs wearing short shorts.
It’s all too cute and post-modern for words but the last time we saw celebrity wedding photos like this, it was back in 2004. Yep, Britney Spears and Kevin Federline’s legendary nuptials with the cheeseburgers at the reception, the Pimps and Maids matching tracksuits and Brit’s skimpy lace wedding dress. Good times! Cool couple Maggie Gyllenhaal and Peter Sarsgaard have finally put a ring on it. The couple got hitched in the gorgeous South Italy town of Brindisi on Saturday, in another hot contender for Sneakiest Wedding of ’09. The under-the-showbiz-radar pair have been dating since 2002 and have a two-year-old daughter, Ramona. Although neither’s rep has confirmed the wedding, it’s said that Maggie’s brother Jake Gyllenhaal and A-lister girlfriend Reese Witherspoon were in attendance. Congratulations!
We had our suspicions: When you’re marrying a billionaire, would you really be satisfied with a quick service in City Hall? Nah. And Salma Hayek‘s proved that her official wedding ceremony to super-super-super-rich Francois-Henri Pinault in February was only a taster for the real deal.
Celebrities like Bono, Charlize Theron, Penelope Cruz, Stella McCartney and Ashley Judd all descended on Venice this past weekend for an elegantly glamorous celebration. The couple and guests donned masks for a ball on Friday night and renewed their vows at the river city’s La Fenice opera house the next day. She may have claimed she wasn’t going to spend the cash on a “ridiculous” wedding ceremony only a few days ago, but after looking at the photos from these super-exclusive nuptials, we think Mrs Pinault may have been feeding the media a bit of a line. Cheeky! But congratulations (again). [Photo: Splash News Online]
It’s finally happened. Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag got hitched yesterday at Westminster Presbyterian Church in Pasadena, CA. The Hills villains said their vows in front of family and friends, including Audrina Patridge and Kristin Cavallari, and proceeded to a reception at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel. Heidi wore a glitzy strapless Monique Lhullier dress and over a million dollars in bling. Heidi’s bridesmaids, Holly Montag and Stephanie Pratt, wore yellow dresses by BCBG. Never ones to keep their romantic lives private, the entire Speidi wedding will be featured on the season finale of The Hills.

Uma Thurman is set to get married to mega-loaded Arpad Busson this weekend in a “low-key” ceremony, according to reports. (We’re not sure if her idea of low-key is ours — can’t see them with a sandwich buffet and iPod disco.) The couple is one of the most well-connected in Britain and America, although Arpad has said to be hit hard by the economic downturn and his investments with fraudster Bernie Madoff. Their joint wealth is now down to $124m, according to the Sunday Times Rich List. How terrible!
They’ve both got romantic pasts, too: Uma was previously married to British actor Gary Oldman and Gen-X icon Ethan Hawke, who’s now married to their former nanny. And Arpad has two kids with Elle MacPherson, who’s been linked with Guy Ritchie, Madonna’s ex. Who’s dating….oh, you get the idea. [Photo: Splash News Online]
