We think you’ll join us in congratulating Rosie O’Donnell and Michelle Rounds, even though it turns out our well-wishes are about two months late. Rosie broke the news on her website today that she and Michelle, who had been engaged since December, tied the knot in a private ceremony back in June, just before Rounds had surgery to treat her rare disease, desmoid tumors.
we were to wed 10 days ago
but her illness forced us to postpone the wedding
as i was in ICU that day
when it rains …
like love and flowers
so on we go
we married in private
before her surgery
just the 2 of us
Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie took approximately six decades to get engaged, so we assumed that we’d be grandparents by the time they finally went ahead with the actual wedding. But color us amazed when we heard that the super couple might be tying the knot this very weekend! Sadly, we were not invited. According to the UK Sun, their French chateau is being prepped for some kind of major blow out, with Brad’s parents even being flown in, as well as the man who designed Angelina’s engagement ring, jeweler to the stars Robert Procop.
The couple’s reps are claiming that the big event is actually a 50th anniversary party for Brad’s mom and dad, but sources in the town just aren’t buying it. “Brad flew in to oversee preparations but they’re all here now,” they told the magazine. “They say it’s for Jane and Bill, but some think this could be it. Even Angelina’s private jeweler is here.” It’s rumored that the ceremony at their Provencal estate will have a miniscule guest list of around 20 or so, including George Clooney. “George and Brad are best pals, there’s no way he’d miss it,” the source continued. “He’s at his house in Italy, but could fly to Marseille in an hour. There’s a real buzz around the estate.” Brad reportedly bought Angie a watch valued at upwards of $350,000 as a wedding gift recently, so maybe they really are making the final steps towards marriage. Or as it’s known in Hollywood circles, the first steps towards divorce.

After months of fooling us into thinking they’d already gotten hitched in secret, Natalie Portman and Benjamin Millepied finally, for real got married on Saturday in Big Sur, California. The Jewish ceremony took place in a private home after dark, People reports.
The couple, whose son Aleph is 14 months old, first met and started dating in 2009, on the set of Black Swan — basically the least romantic movie we can think of. But dancer/choreographer Millepied was perfectly able to get past Natalie’s psycho ballerina character and the two announced their engagement and the baby on the way in December 2010. A month later, they started making all the red carpet rounds together, adorably showing off Natalie’s baby bump as she picked up trophy after trophy.
The two do an amazingly frustrating job of keeping private, but that doesn’t mean photographers haven’t managed to snap some super sweet pics of them displaying their affection. Here’s a little photographic celebration of how much these two clearly love each other! Congrats!

There’s trouble in paradise, well, what could have been paradise. TMZ reports rapper The Game and fiance Tiffney Cambridge have called off their wedding 10 days before the couple was scheduled to walk down the aisle. What in the Sam Hill happened? Only four days ago TMZ reported that the Compton native was working with 51 Minds Entertainment to film a reality show based on his road to jumping the broom. Apparently a lot can happen in four days. Today the no longer soon to be groom tweeted, “The rumors are TRUE. The wedding is OFF. It’s not her fault, it’s mine! She’s a GREAT woman, I just wasn’t man enough 2 see it through.” We hope this has nothing to do with the supposed reality show that was in the works. Read more…
The 4th of July mid-week festivities were a double cause for celebration for actress Sara Ramirez. While all of us were red, white and blue … she was mostly focused on the white. For her wedding, that is! Sara got married to her longtime boyfriend, business analyst Ryan Debolt in an intimate ceremony in New York last Wednesday, which was attended by close friends and family, according to her spokesperson. Very smart, guys. That means their anniversary will always be a holiday! Hopefully, this walk up the aisle has been less plagued with troubles than her character on Grey’s Anatomy, Callie Torres! Man, did the scriptwriters put her the through the ringer! Her real-life love story is so much better!. Debolt proposed to Sara in Paris last year, right after her character Callie got married onscreen, funnily enough! Her rep released a short and sweet statement then saying, “Sara Ramirez and her longtime partner, Ryan Debolt, are thrilled to announce their engagement which took place in Paris, France, on June 17th, 2011.” Congratulations, you two. We wish you a very long and happy married life. And we’d like to see some pictures of the dress, please.

It was a busy weekend for Alec Baldwin! First he gets married Saturday at New York City’s St. Patrick’s Old Cathedral to his fiance Hilaria Thomas, in a ceremony attended by celebs like Tina Fey, Woody Allen and Billy Baldwin. Then this morning we find out that Alec…um…fantasizes about murdering TMZ’s head honcho in Vanity Fair. Subsequently Alec’s Twitter account is now gone! We’re not saying there is a clear connection between that sequence of events, but if there is…then good thinking, Hilaria! Way to start your life together off right!
“I wanted to stick a knife in him and gut him and kill him and I wanted him to die breathing his last breath looking into my eyes,” the 30 Rock star told VF about TMZ producer Harvey Levin as part of their August issue; Levin leaked the extremely unflattering voicemail in which Baldwin calls daughter Ireland a “pig.” Coming on the heels of his two recent paparazzi altercations, we are both unsurprised and horrified. Seeing as how Alec bowed out of his non-stop tweeting shortly after 1) getting married and 2) his humiliating comments became public, we’d like to think that the actor’s new bride is responsible for his current Twitter silence. Unlike Alec, she seems like the kind of woman who likes to maintain some shred of privacy:
Who and who got married, you ask? We feel your surprise, because this one’s totally come out of left field. We weren’t even aware that Giovanni Ribisi and Agyness Deyn were dating. So the fact that they are now married, well, cue the dropped jaws. It’s all true, folks, because the actor’s rep had confirmed it by saying, “It’s true. Agyness Deyn and Giovanni Ribisi quietly married in Los Angeles over the weekend.” Them getting hitched would have gone completely under radar as well, if it hadn’t been for a chance sighting by a reporter of the Crown City News who spotted them making out outside the East L.A. Branch of the the L.A. County Registrar’s Office. The piece states, “I asked him and the blond woman if they were getting married today and they quietly said yes, in a shy kind of way.” It also adds, “I asked if the two had been together for a while, and they looked at each other and kind of smiled, and he vaguely said ‘A while.’ Then I told them I was kind of embarrassed to ask, but could I get a picture of him, and he said sure, no problem.” Okay, we’re still shocked. It’s incredible how quiet they kept this news!
This is Deyn’s first marriage and Ribisi’s second. He split with his first wife, Mariah O’Brien, in 2001 and the ex-couple have a daughter, Lucia, together. Congratulations, you two crazy kids! Don’t disappear into secrecy again!

A huge round of congratulations are in order for Matthew McConaughey and Camila Alves. The genetically blessed couple finally tied the knot in a sunset ceremony Saturday evening in Texas, says People, after being together going on six years and sharing two beautiful children — son, Levi Alves McConaughey and daughter, Vida Alves McConaughey. The ceremony itself was extremely private and very simple. Apparently, some details were revealed to guests at the very last moment. Those guests, including close friends and family, stayed on large, luxury tents the actor had pitched across his huge property. It’s no surprise that the celebration lasted three whole days with lots of people chilling on hammocks, sipping brews and playing lawn games. It sounds so idyllic!
US Magazine also has a guest talking about the ceremony itself and it sounds like a very emotional one. “There were no groomsmen or bridesmaids. And there were two preachers, [a pastor of a local church] and a monk. They switched off saying remarks,” says the source. The simplicity filtered down to even the vows section of the ceremony. The guest adds, “They whispered them in each other’s ears. No one knew what they said. Whatever they said was very emotional. [Camila] was tearing up. The crowd erupted and there were many tears all around …” People has the exclusive on all the photos which they say will come out in print this week. A guest also revealed that Matthew looked “so handsome” and like “an old Hollywood movie star” in a three-piece black Dolce & Gabbana tuxedo, while Camila was “just glowing and beautiful” in white Stuart Weitzman heels and a wedding gown handmade by her favorite Brazilian designer. We can’t wait to see the pictures! Best wishes to the happy couple!

Mazel tov, Drew Barrymore and Will Kopelman! The couple tied the knot in a lovely intimate ceremony on Saturday at her Montecito, California, estate. A source described the nuptials to People as, “a classic, simple, very pretty, garden-inspired wedding.” They were officially married under a chuppah while a rabbi officiated, and another source told Us Weekly that the pregnant bride’s custom Chanel gown was, “a long white dress in pleated muslin and organza, designed for Barrymore by Karl Lagerfeld himself. The skirt of the dress was embroidered with flowers in organza, muslin, tulle and feathers. A black satin belt accentuated Barrymore’s waist — and baby bump. She also accessorized her bridal gown with Chanel Fine Jewelry.” Wow, Chanel, FTW! Will’s father, Ari Kopelman was the former CEO of Chanel, FYI. The flower child may be all grown up, but she did have her hair pinned up with white gardenias. The couple also drove off in a classic Mercedes when the party was done.
Celebrity guests included bestie Cameron Diaz, Reese Witherspoon and husband Jim Toth, Jimmy Fallon and wife Nancy Juvonen, Busy Philipps and her husband, Steven Spielberg and Kate Capshaw. This is Barrymore’s third marriage, but her first child, due later this year. We wish the newlyweds all the happiness!
