Tons of stars were on hand yesterday to participate in Oprah‘s Live Your Best Life charity walk in New York City, but Jennifer Hudson continued to impress with her amazing new body at the event.
JHud, who is a Weight Watchers spokeswoman, was one of many big names at the walk, which benefited ten charities and was held in conjuction with the tenth anniversary of Oprah’s O Magazine. Mary J. Blige, Dr. Mehmet Oz, Gayle King, and Bette Midler were among the participants who were part of Oprah’s charitable celebrity entourage. Check out who was looking sporty in our gallery below.

It’s always nice when Oprah Winfrey tells us her favorite things (“UGG boooooots!” “Velour sweatpaaaants!”) so we can buy them and live our best life by using them. But that doesn’t get to the heart of America’s true Oprah obsession. Sometimes we actually want Oprah’s own gently used favorite things, you know? With their sloughed off bits of Winfrey DNA stowed away on them, so we can clone her in our basement science lab. Or whatever. People, that time has come!
Oprah will be auctioning off 150 pieces of her clothing, shoes and accessories on eBay to benefit her Leadership Academy in South Africa. The auction begins March 1 and includes items like Jimmy Choo shoes, Chanel bags and a Carolina Herrera dress. If you want to check out her eBay page when it goes live, it’s here. The auction ends March 11. [Photo: Getty Images]
Hollywood salaries always seem crazy to us, but our annoyance at those $20 million paychecks is tempered when celebs like Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie donate a crapload of their money to charity. Tuesday’s 7.0 earthquake in Haiti has been devastating to the island nation, but just a day after the disaster that has left countless dead, The Jolie-Pitt Foundation has donated $1 million to emergency medical operations there. The money will fund Doctors Without Borders, and Pitt explained “We understand the first response is critical to serve the immediate needs of countless people who are now displaced from their homes, are suffering trauma, and most require urgent care.”
The couple aren’t the only ones to show their support to this cause though. Heroes star and native Haitian Jimmy Jean-Louis, whose family has been devastated by the quake, has also set up the Hollywood Unites For Haiti fund, where donations are being accepted to provide emergency assistance, shelter, medical supplies, food and water to those who require it. You can contribute directly to the fund here. Wyclef Jean, also a native Haitian, has set up Yele.org, another site where you can donate, either online or by texting the word “YELE” to 501501 to make a $5 donation. And as you may know from Facebook or other social networking sites, you can also text “HAITI” to 90999 to make a $10 donation directly to the American Red Cross. Any text donations will be billed to your cell phone. You can follow the Red Cross’ distaster relief efforts and updates on the country’s status on their Newsroom site. [Photo: Getty Images]
The children of Malawi have learned what we have known for over 20 years – that Madonna is not of this earth. The age-defying, career-defying, body-defying, music chameleon is currently on a trip back to the African nation to visit the Home of Hope orphanage she adopted son David Banda from back in 2006. “You are our God. Where could we have been without you?” one orphan is quoted as saying to Her Royal Madgeness.
So she’s a God in Africa, and already a Queen of Pop. If only she’d stayed married to Guy Ritchie and lived in Britain a while longer, she may have been made a Dame. [Photo: AFP/Getty]
Sixty pooches ranging from Bernese Mountain Dog to Basset Hound braved the ocean surf for Loews Coronado Beach Resort Surf Dog Competition over the weekend in San Diego, CA. The not-so-serious competition was broken into rounds, ranging from small to large dog breeds. Grand prize went to Zoey, a Jack Russell Terrier owned by professional surfer Scott Chandler. The charitable canines raised over $15,000 for the Modest Needs Foundation. Good dog! [Source: Today Show]
At the Time For Heroes Celebrity Carnival, Miley Cyrus performed in true manic fashion while the cast of The Hills, little Bronx Mowgli Wentz, and Dancing with the Stars champion Shawn Johnson showed their support for the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation.
