American Reunion opens wide today, allowing us to catch up with Jim, Stifler (and his mom!), Finch and the rest of the East Great Falls crew. But personally, we’re probably most excited to reconnect with Shannon Elizabeth, who stripped her way into teen movie history as the sultry exchange student, Nadia! VH1 News was lucky enough to speak to the actress at the red carpet premiere of Cirque Du Soleil’s “Michael Jackson The Immortal World Tour” in New York City this week, where she looked just as lovely as she did in Jason Biggs’ bedroom.
Even though it’s become a modern classic, Shannon admits it’s still weird to see herself on film 13-years younger in the original American Pie. “We were babies,” she says. “We didn’t even look like adults then! I know at the time we thought we were adults. But now it’s like, ‘OK, now we look like adults.'”
Though the 90s tinge of the original makes it look a little dated, it’s not the fashion choices that make Shannon cringe. “Maybe my lack of costume,” she admit. “I think that might be it for me.” It’s true that Shannon does spend a major part of the film wearing next to nothing. “Yeah, well, it worked for the time for the film, so what can I say? I made it through.” What a pro! Check out more in the video clip, and see the gallery below for some of Shannon’s hottest clothed looks.

We knew Coco and Ice-T are a couple of many talents. We have also seen plenty of evidence on TV, Twitter and interviews that they’re often just like regular people, despite those ample talents. So when VH1 News caught up with the adorable twosome at the New York premiere of Cirque du Soleil’s Michael Jackson: The Immortal World Tour, we asked if, like the rest of us, they had fantasies of running away and joining the circus. Or the cirque. And oh, they have more than just fantasies.
“I was in gymnastics in high school, so I did the high bars, parallel bars, pommel horse, so …,” Ice revealed, leading us to believe that he had a whole backup plan if that rap thing didn’t pan out.
“I think I’m the flexible one in the house,” Coco put in. And her hubby agreed, “Yeah, she would be the contortionist,” before the interview devolved into talk of the kind of flexibility you don’t show off onstage. Anyway, yeah, we’ve seen evidence of Coco’s flexibility.
Consider Patrick Dempsey at the premiere for Cirque du Soleil’s “Iris” in Hollywood. We have thoughts about this picture. Very strong thoughts that we will now enumerate for you.
• WTF, Patrick Dempsey? You’re frickin’ McDreamy. Get it together!
• Tyra Banks is somewhere right now, aiming her book Modelland at your solar plexus.
• On Twitter, this would be hashtag ‘hipsterfail‘
• We see no muscles so do not draw attention to what it is that you don’t have.
• If you’re going to ham it up, at least commit it to it fully, will you? Like Thomas Jane does! Go hard or go home.
• Please go back to being hot.

A Michael Jackson World Tour in 2011? Leave it to the Cirque Du Soleil people to make miracles happen. A year and a half after the King of Pop’s death, the famed acrobatic illusionists are building a big-top event around his music and signature dance moves.
Aptly dubbed “The Immortal World Tour”, the production is slated to kick off in the Cirque’s native Canada next fall. It will then circle the world before ending up permanently at the MGM Mirage hotel in Las Vegas, the current home Beatles-themed Cirque show, Love.
Some fans worry that the show might not do MJ justice, but we hear Jackson’s legacy is in good hands. Michael’s mother Katherine Jackson has given her blessing, and it will be choreographed and directed by former Jackson backup dancer Jamie King. More recently, King as has directed tours for Britney Spears, Christina Aguilera, Ricky Martin and Madonna.
What do you think? Will a dozen of the best dancers in the world be able to measure up to a single Michael Jackson? We think not. But we’re still excited anyway!
