Calvin Klein is one of the most iconic American fashion designers of our time. His eternal minimalistic looks have graced some of biggest red carpets and have been worn by some of the biggest celebrities like Gwyneth Paltrow, Sandra Bullock, and Julia Roberts. It’s hard to imagine that it all started 44 years ago in a small coat shop in the York Hotel right here in New York City when Klein founded Calvin Klein Limited with only $10,000. Today the famed designer is turning 70 and we’re pretty sure it’s safe to say that was $10,000 well spent!

Besides being awarded time after time for his fashions, the designer has also been accredited for many of his risqué ads, especially in the 80’s and 90’s. Who could forget Brooke Shields and her famous line “”You wanna know what comes between me and my Calvins? Nothing.” And don’t even get us started on the the uber sexy ads that featured a young Mark Wahlberg and Kate Moss. The Kardashians Team Up With Sears To Bring You Lingerie

When you think of Sears, what’s the first thing to come to mind? Is it quality gardening tools? Reasonably-priced home appliances? How about a pair of skin-tight jeggings with Kim Kardashian‘s face all over them? We’re all going to have to reconsider how we think of the department store now that the Kardashians and Sears are putting out the Kardashian Kollection. Hitting stores in August, the sisters are working with Australian designer Bruno Schiavi to create what we can only imagine will be a high-quality line of clothing, shoes, accessories and lingerie. See, this whole time we were buying  our lingerie at Sears and now it turns out we were ahead of the curve. Take that, all of our ex-boyfriends!

This is only the latest Kardashian-approved product to hit stores. Let’s not forget the Kardashian swimwear line or Khlomar’s adventures in unisex fragrances, just to name a few. Sears projects the Kardashian line for juniors will bring in $200 to $300 million the first year alone, which is great considering how much the sisters might owe over the kaput Kardashian credit card. While we’re there trying on a few unmentionables, we can also pick up some wielding equipment and a power sander. What a time saver!
